I have and R9 and Omega 9K. My preference is for short cans to keep the length down for good handling. I’ve decided to mostly use the Omega 9K on handguns and the R9 on my 9mm and 300blk SBRs.
The R9 with trilug adapter works really nice on my AP5.
If I were add another 9mm can it would be the OCL Lithium.

I am going to buck the trend and recommend the Dead Air Wolfman.

But boy is it quiet, I have a full auto MP5 and running subs through the Wolfman in long configuration is amazing. Roller delayed guns are so dang quiet, adding a large volume can like that is just a hoot.

Deez has the ss with slip trip and lee i belive comes with the recoil spring tube, they are 15 bucks anyways. I think i have that right at least lol.

I love short and light,but i also love quiet. I ran a tirant 45 on a zenith and it was very quiet with 147's. I just hated how long it was.
I have two SP5s, the regular and the K. I have four 9mm suppressors and hear are my entirely scientific results. 1) I like converting the 9mm suppressors to the tri lug system as opposed to direct thread. It is easier on and easier off. 2) All of the suppressors sound about the same when shooting ammo that is faster than the speed of sound. When I shoot 147 grain subs, the traditional baffle designs are quieter behind the gun. 3) The biggest noticeable difference of any of the suppressors in the Hux Cash 9, there is noticeably less gas back in my face. 4) I think people sweat which can works best too much, the answer is they all work. I get the best overall performance from the Hux. It gives the least amount of back pressure, the least gas to the face, it is quiet enough with both super and sub ammo. 5) I think any low back pressure 9mm can will work just fine, I would buy whatever you can get a deal with as long as it has an adapter to tri lug.
I have an Octane on a POF 5PK and it throws a lot of gas back in my face. Been looking at that Hux Cash 9 but it never seems to be in stock. Love the Octane on my CZ SP01 but would would not recommend it for an MP5 variant.

Really? I had not heard this about SiCo and the Octane! Is there a time period/serial number the cans were from that we should watch out for? Can you provide more data? Now you got me all worried.I think you have to buy the Tri-Lug separate. But I do suggest not going budget on a suppressor. The YHM cans kind of suck, and so do SilencerCo cans. The SiCo Octanes were having severe QC issues several years ago, with baffles and end caps not being welded on straight, off-center machined baffle stacks and end caps causing strikes, etc... It was a real shitshow. I would strongly suggest not wasting your money on anything SilencerCo or YHM. The YHM cans are well built, they're just not very quiet. And the whole point of a suppressor is to suppress...Blast, flash, and sound signature. If it doesn't do any/all of those things very well, then, IMO, it's not worth the $200 tax stamp.
My opinion is get the Wolfman or Lithium.
Wipes work, but are kind of gimmicky, only because they don't last but a few shots, and you also cannot shoot expanding or HP ammo through them, or it will expand as it pushes through the wipe, causing some "interesting" things to happen. This is why I suggest the Lithium, as you won't be using the wipes as much as you think after you burn through a few of them. I had a buddy who bought a Wolfman for the same reason, and thought the same thing about the wipes, and then he quickly realized it wasn't really worth the hassle. So he just shot the wipe out, and left it in the can and hasn't replaced in a few thousand rounds. LOL
ive owned several Sico pistol cans for 10 plus years and this is the first I've ever heard about what was claimed.
I have an Omega 9k on my full size AP5 and I love it! Seems pretty quiet and doesn't add much length. If it gets dirty I can toss it on a 5.56 and blow carbon out of it.
I've seen them with my own eyes... Do some Googling, and you'll see it's not isolated.
Also, I was wrong on the model... It's not the Octane... It was the fully-welded model, the Omega series. My bad.
Quietest pcc suppresor I've got to demo is the CAT mob.
The LPM Athem 38 was great although it's a bit heavy.
PTR vent was great
Resilient RS9 was great.
OCL Lithium for the size and weight is also great although it's not as quiet as the aforementioned cans, however it's also shorter.
As far as pcc cans I own I have a wolf9sd and Wolfman. If I was buying another right now it would be the cat mobster.

I went with the Wolfman, and I’m very pleased with it. Sounds great shooting 147gr subs.
Octane 45 does surprisingly well on a 9mm Mac 10 / lage upper
The K has a smaller receiver and was engineered to be fired as a pistol. When you fire from shoulder, stress on receiver is greater, even more with a can. So, there’s an 80-degree locking piece for K series guns suppressed.
