These firearms and parts were “destroyed “ 3 years ago - except obviously they were not .
The DEA claims the FBI handled the destruction of these frames and receivers - the FBI had an explanation

“We keep those in large bins in a cafeteria building , accessible to basically everyone “
Our bad we won’t that again . That’s the official narrative.

Stupidity and incompetence aside - it would be very helpful to have bins full of “destroyed “ firearms to arm- I don’t know - next school shooter - or whomever can aid in the narrative.

@Mwalex beat me to it.

BTW, I am not surprised, being the cynical distrusting SOB that I am.

He completely misses the point in the video. I don't destroy firearms and I don't know anyone who has destroyed a gun.

The actual point is: If the DEA/FBI can't even manage a process to destroy firearms, how can they be trusted to professionally investigate crimes? ANSWER: They can't and aren't.

Regardless, they should be selling them on the surplus markets to recover a portion of the cost of the replacements. There is an active secondary market for these guns and NOT selling them is a waste of taxpayer dollars.

In the past in some branches of the military, if a weapon comes up missing the whole unit gets locked down until it’s found or CID finishes their investigation. Not sure how it works now but back in the day the one responsible for losing the weapon lost a few pay grades.

Be kind of cool if the Feds got a taste of that.

saw a pic long ago of a 200+ pile of iraqui SVD clones to be run over by a big compactor. could have sold them to civs for a big $ recoup.
australia destroyed Ks of valuable mausers that they confiscated for no reason except that they could and wanted to punish evil gun owners.
