Bergara b-14r pic thread

Pulled mine out of the KRG bravo, because it won me a 50% off MDT elite.

Not sure it'll stay in here. It either needs a 22" truck axle or a bunch of fore-end weight. Barrel is about .5" short of the fore-end without the can.

Try the L3i double m-lok brass weights or put it in a Gen 2 ACC .

If the chassis needs a new home I’ll buy it off you. Was about to order one from tactical surplus for 1240, but that blue is slick.

I'll likely have my smith fit a 22" benchmark. It's not far off, balance is at the magazine, just needs to move forward about 2".

The blue is definitely eye catching. Worst case I'd stuff one of my center-fire rigs in there since it's in a bravo with 4.5lbs of lead in the stock for balance.

Not the greatest picture but this is mine.

I did a "composite" group of 19 rounds aligned on POI center for each group (20 minus a "flyer" that was significantly outside the rest. I know some people won't agree with that and they're probably not wrong, but it is what I did.) The groups were not all in that part of the targets, since I shot at 100yds and changed zero between a couple of them. I'll do better "science" when I'm back home and not working on the road.

So far I'm really digging this stick. Much MUCH more than my CZ455 Tacticool, which was just endlessly frustrating to shoot.

Worst, which I must have done something wrong to cause (I'm an extremely novice rifle shooter, I'm still figuring out the basics of the fundamentals)

I also shot five rounds at five separate targets then overlayed each entire target to form a composite 5 shot. Fully getting off the gun between each shot.

26" Lilja 4 groove tightbore barrel - MTU straight taper - 22 Nevius chamber
PTG single pin .250 recoil lug
MPA BA chassis
MPA full weight kit
Gray Ops CNC front external weights
MPA F class front rest support
TT Black Diamond - 6 ounces
The Polished Knob grenade bolt handle
Seekins 20 MOA rail
Spuhr 4011 GAP mount 0 MOA
Vortex Razor Gen II

The barrel was coutoured at Lilja and the smithing was done by Rick Barton at Scheels in Des Moines Iowa. Rick set it up to Kevin Nevius's specs.

My best targets to date are a 250 18X and 250 20X shot the same day. Looking for a 21X now.
