Location and ability to move it determines value also. I picked up a safe for near nothing from a guy on what was Craigslist years ago. Sized very similar, came from a cvs demo. He had it listed for something like $1500. Listed for a few weeks when I finally contacted him. Turns out he had plenty of interest but everyone wanted delivery and set up because they couldn’t get it home.

I showed up with straps and a trailer, guy had a skid steer with forks. I rigged it and he picked it up by the straps and laid on my trailer. Think I gave him $300. Scrap yards then didn’t even want it due to the fireproofing.

The door alone on that safe was 1” thick steel.

Looks like a project that's going to need a complete refurb. If he has the combination and the interior looks fairly good $2-300, if he doesn't have a combination to open it $50. It will cost you $3-500+ to get a professional to open it. Then you are going to want a new lock installed most likely, another $500 plus installation. Then add the expense of stripping it down and repainting it. This thing could get expensive, but it might be a fun project too.

If you can determine the fire and burglary rating it would help in setting a price. New might be cheaper.

My guess is AmSec. I bet it is a TL-15 and the guy doesn't know how to read or read the listing without glasses. TL rated safes are good. If you have to pick it up and move it, assuming he has the combination and it isn't rusty or otherwise fucked up, you would be doing good in my area for 500 or less. But pricing is very area dependent and my area seems to be a bit high. I would try for 250 and you move it. That is a good deal. If no combo, 50 to 100 as that safe will be a minimum of 500 to open.

Gray, perhaps the classic battleship tint.
About 26-28 inches wide, maybe 55-60 inches tall.
Large white panel behind tumbler wheel and release handle.
2 stickers near top, 1 says "Boston" and the other says "New England new england safe company".
Unknown weight but presume to be quite heavy.

That about identify it for you ?
If you need me to be more specific please provide images of other areas on it that have anything else that will uniquely identify it.
