The same Mil-Dot Ballistics app for IOS should also be in the Android GooglePlay Store...according to Mil-Dot Ballistics

What about the truemiller, it is one of those neat circle things that you get to spin around.
I bet you could replace your dope card holder thing that people slap on their scopes with this thing and use a little arm band card for dope. You can sing "You spin me right round baby right round" as you get the range, check the dope card and send it.
I was thinking exactly the same thing so I developed an app called Mildot Commander. Google is giving me a hell of a time getting it on the play store and I need real testers with real feedback. If you are interested here are links to become a tester:

First you must join the google group then choose one of the other links and become a tester. Once completed you will have access to install the app. After it's installed you can calculate range to target using your mildot reticle using inches, millimeters or centimeters for the target size. Mildots or MOA for the reticle system and have the distance displayed in meters or yards. If you install the recommended protractor app you can include incline/decline angle to be calculated as well. If anyone does install the app please provide feedback with any issues found no matter what it is. Test it for accuracy any report any bugs or issues (I doubt you will find any as I've tested the hell out of the app already and it seems good to go for me).

I have both. The app is free. I just went through 7 days without power from Hurricane Helene so yeah I know about batteries and having to keep them charged. No harm in having backups for your backups though. I basically digitized the mildot master with my app. I use both, like them both etc...
That said the Mildot Commander app can input millimeters, centimeters or inches for target size and can use MOA or MILS for angle system and outputs distance to target in yards or meters making it more versatile then the mildot master.
Redundancy is always a good thing. I usually just use my phone calculator and I have the mil relation formula memorized, it’s not that difficult to remember for me. I also have a calculator in my stock pack and one in my databook along with a mildot master. Plus I can use the Kestrel. And if all else fails a pen and paper is all you really need to do the formula.
The other thing you might consider is having a notebook or a databook page full of average sizes. All of the above won’t help you if you don’t have a target size to go off of. I know on the range shooting targets that’s pretty easy to know, but in a field environment that isn’t gonna help much. Personally I carry a cloth measuring tape in my stock pack to measure average sizes of common objects and have a page in my databook of common sizes.
