Thanks in advance for any help.

I have an AI AW with built in dovetail on the receiver. I am looking at a couple scopes but they have 34mm tubes.

I guess I am looking for suggestions! I have found a couple 34mm dovetail rings online; however, I mean a couple....like two. Does anyone know of a one piece 34mm dovetail mount? Should I look for a dovetail to Picatinny adapter? I would rather have the dovetail as I don't like the idea of adding additional hardware between the scope and receiver. I have posted a couple pics of my AI so you can see what I am working with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have read elsewhere (probably an old thread here) that sportsmatch was the OEM for ai rings and mounts, theres some air gun company stateside that distributes. Only see rings for dovetail though https://www.sportsmatch-uk.com/

Actually, I might have one, the 45 MOA version, 34mm rings. It came on an AIAWM I bought years ago - and put a Spurh on. Let me check if it is pic rail or dovetail.

Sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner! I have been busy. I found some rings locally and sighted her in. So far so good. Probably headed to the range next week to stretch her legs.

I do have a question that you guys may know the answer to. On the bottom of my AI/AW there is a mounting system below the foregrip. What is that for? Does a certain type of tripod mount to it?

Detroit, thanks for that. I will absolutely look into it. Just for my curiosity, what is the original mounting system called? I don't know of anything that would adapt a tripod to that thing.
