Announced 3 days ago. Sorta interesting, sorta not. Just figured I’d post it for general awareness.

Also, I’d love to hear some feedback on these Outdoor Legacy guys (aka Late Night Vision Show). Never quite know if I should trust them or not.

the ace h50r has all the same sensors as the mk2 rh50r. I’m sure the same people make everything that powers them. They will both be great thermals. Same exact specs on both.

MK2 does not have Optical zoom or AI tech to make clearer image at higher digital zoom ranges. not sure but I don't think the mk2 has ballistic drop like the Burris eliminator either, which nocpix does. Also only 32gb on mk2 vs 64gb on nocpix so multiple ways not the same.

I know what you’re saying but the image will be pretty much identical. The mk2 has ballistics also. I talked to a guys at outdoor legacy gear. As far as image goes they are the same.

Are they Euro or Chiiiina? I have the Halo XRF and I like it quite a bit, but being a lefty it sort of sucks on my bolt gun. I do like the regular scope form factor on this one and the fact the RF isn't dangling off the side of it.

Any gossip on the s60r hitting stateside?
I talked to the Iray guys a few weeks ago and they said they had ZERO word on whether or not the S60R was coming in. I really didn't believe them but I wasn't going to press the issue.

They obviously want to try and push what's available right now which is the S50R.

I considered importing an S60R but i'm not sure what i'd do if there was an issue with it. I don't think Iray would help me out.

I've only listened to the podcast and haven't talked to anyone, but I bet Nocpix S60R is announced at SHOT. The Late Night Vision Show indicated there would be more coming at SHOT and I don't know why Nocpix wouldn't bring the biggest and the best here unless they are just jerks :ROFLMAO:. Would also explain why they said the RS75 has not been available for some time (maybe iRay is doing something to replace it too)

Overall for being nearly half of the XRF (holiday sale excluded)that I’m coming from it seems like a nice scope for the 10 minutes I played with it outside. The NUC is much faster, I do prefer to be able to focus the picture and the ocular zoom on the rear is neat but time will tell on that once I’m in the field a bit. Ohio deer gun week is really dicking me. Wish Nvision would get even some of the features this has, Picture in Picture, colored reticles and multiple options, recoil activated video, quick power up

What's it weigh with the mount and everything else?

According to the kitchen scale
How does the ocular zoom work? Is it a 1x-3x weapon sight then digital zoom? Or is it starting @3x-..x?

Where is the best place to buy one of the Nocpix?
It’s 3x and the ocular zoom magnifies the screen itself. pm your number and I can text a video if you want to see it. I got mine from gear the hunt, I’m sure there is a handful of solid dealers

The ocular zoom zooms in on the display screen, so no pixelation when using it.
The drawback is that as you zoom in on the display you lose the outer edges of the screen that has all of the scopes info.
I found that a combination of digital zoom and ocular zoom works best.
I'm very interested in the S60R, but am hoping NVision is coming out with something for consumers next year.
