I thought mentally-ill people weren't allowed to own guns.

If they check the Gender box on a 4473 as 'Other' or 'Non-binary' than it will be rejected in some states as it differs from whats on their DL, which only has Male or Female.

There's going to be some pissed off trannies and bulls if they have to face reality.

Our local gun store /indoor range offers handgun safety courses and CC classes , the few times I have seen /interacted with the women they all seem quite normal . They do tend imho to be over 40 ish and want protection . This is in NW florida my wife even took a safety course and jacked my 2.5 colt python ,she also joins me at the range but refuses to clean the pistol after shooting....says its man work she also refuses to try magnums or my SW 340 PD [ cant blame her on dat 1 ]. I am surprised the large number of women interested in guns and glad for them ....some of the cougars are deadly on target paper too

Don't make the mistake of trying to convince yourself the Left isn't arming up with real guns and aren't training.

They're probably the most fervent shooters out there right now.

Boomers like myself grew up shooting, have paid their dues and have forgotten more than they'll know but have a tendency to rest on our laurels.

They come in my buddies gunstore all the time. Three came in last Friday. Always wanting the same things. A "Glock" with high capacity magazines. And they use those exact words. They are absolutely stunned to find out there are many different "Glocks" to chose from, even from other companies. And that high cap mags are illegal and there is a 15 day waiting.

Or a pump shotgun, " the cheapest one you have", they buy anything Turkish. Short barrel and most rounds possible. What!?!? A 15 day wait and an online class?? Are you kidding? Nope. See ya next month, we'll call when approved.

Two years of commies buying guns, not a single one has bought ammo with purchase or accepted free ammo with purchase. They all say they already have ammo.

Literally same dialog word for word. All legal appearing American citizens.

My wife is the same, she carried a little J frame all the way back in the 80's when she was a store manager. Deposits in just cash got quite large, and after christmas it got quite late for the bank run.

Good grief, it would take hours to debunk and call out all the lies in that junk piece of “journalism”. But I guess that’s how they make their money, keeping people stirred up. The only thing I found that was true was this statement:

“If you can’t dry-fire at least once a week and go out to the range once a month on average, you’re likely to become more of a liability to yourself and everyone around you in the event that you ever needed a gun.”

Trans people buying guns is a very bad idea. The ones I’ve encountered have serious mental issues and are prone to very emotionally driven out of control erratic behaviors. This doesn’t work well long term with firearm ownership. It will be intersesting to see if states with red flag laws will use them if or when people start bringing them video proof of tranies going nuts who also own guns. My guess is red flag laws will only be used against conservatives with little to no actual proof, only accusations.

Keep your awareness up and your powder dry.

There's a rich Jewish guy I've known since high school; very wealthy of course, and has always given off a very strong gay vibe.

At a high school reunion, he was seething and pretty much came out and blamed me for the Columbine Massacre since I was an AR owner. I assured him my ARs had an airtight alibi as they were locked in my safe during that time and none were capable of leaving by themselves and were a threat to the public.

He was also a rabid Hillary / Obama supporter. Go figure, and said he "HATED conspiracy theories" or anyone who questioned the 2020 election results.

Well guess who called me out of the blue recently right after Trump's latest victory wanting to know where he could buy a FA UZI with a suppressor as he rented one at an indoor range?

I told him I didn't know of anyone selling a Class III gun with a can but told him he might try Craigslist.

I read the article and the “training company” that’s quoted in the article and booked until June of 2025 - owner is pretty active in uspsa by the looks of his website / instagram. So it’s not just gas gun matches, looks like all forms of competition now

I believe in the 2A and cannot say "but."

When you say "but," you disable the very 2A you want to uphold. And I think it was right, for example, for Texas to go to permitless carry. Even so, I keep up my LTC. It cost me money to get that.

We are going to have idiots with guns. And we are going to have smart guys with guns. If we deny the alphabet people the right to own guns, we are engaging in red flag behavior. It's a steep and slippery slope from there.

Let the trannies get guns. And be better at using yours than they are at using theirs. Denying them guns is not going to make us any safer.

How many times has someone been shot in the crossfire of gangs carrying guns, whether "legal" or not? And the laws did nothing to protect the innocent citizen. Being armed for self defense and as a guard against tyranny is what protects people.

Why would the trannies want to buy guns?

Drama. They want to act as if Trump being president means it is now open season and no bag limit and no weapon restrictions on hunting lgbtmnopqrstuvwxyz+.

If anything don't be at the range when they are there. That reduces the possibility that you will catch a bullet from them. Don't assume that retards like them are safe.

Even if they are "safe," they might put a bullet in your back then claim it was an "accident" or that you attacked them.

It's not worth being in the same location with them when they are armed.

All that I have encountered seemed pretty much not that special. The couple even own NFA stuff and some of it really cool sike a PS90 SBR etc. They (that couple) buys good stuff, not cheap stuff. They are friendly the time they have been in my shop.

I also have a good friend who is a democrat but he believes in the 2nd, he just has different political thoughts and it's no big deal. We agree on some things and disagree on others.

I saw the more law abiding people armed the better. Better for society and better for our rights.

A guy I knew refused to do gun business with Muslims and Lefties and it caused a nationwide stir. Big fucking deal. His range, his rules. He would also require students to say the Pledge of Allegiance before a class. Anyone who had a problem with that got kicked out.

I plugged his name in and the article came up on Huff Post, go figure.

It also sad "the Texas Department of Public Safety, the agency that certifies Texans to teach classes on concealed handguns, confirmed that the agency has launched an investigation into Keller's business practices." Yeah, and fuck the DPS too.

My old high school friend who lives on the other side of the county from me (that's a long story for another day,) is a died-in-the-wool dem. And has a collection of firearms that dwarfs mine considerably. We just disagree in politics.

But he is the friend that went with me to my colonoscopy. And we went to our 40 year high school reunion in 2022. Man, there were a lot of old people there.

I'd still have to question one's moral foundation who supports the current Dem. regime.

As far as the communist Left not being armed and efficient, thats just wishful thinking. There are AK47 shooting competitions full of neckbeards and their women that I can't imagine being Trump supporters that know their way around the AK platform.

I like my AK but I don't see it as some type of cultist symbol of my beliefs.

Panic buying of anything is a sign of mental weakness at best, and mental derangement at worst, with a strong mix of failure to prepare. I have absolutely no sympathy for failure to prepare, and utter disdain for Liberals (they all think they can have it both ways). I wouldn’t sell anything to them, not Bacon or eggs or tofu, let a lone a gun. When in a discussion with a “in-law” who is a sheep—dipped LIb, who suddenly wanted to buy a gun, I suggested that HE was EXACTLY the definition of a person who should not have one. He doesn’t speak to me anymore.
