I may be late to the party, but 3D printed suppressor??

Hello Zak.... how can I get a hold of you for ? I would like to see If you can manufacture this air rifle part.
It can be made as one part and not two. It just needs to be like the final image.
Its absolutely LEGAL in every regard. The small tits and pivot hole are the only semi-accurate area.

We've been tracking 3D printing tech for about a decade and do use it for R&D at present.

Mmmk?

For your information.... An Anschutz 9015 HP air rifle will cost you $4600.00 plus tax!
The scopes I use on them are Trijicon 5-50x56 MOA and about 2K each.

They are not the Daisy Red Rider BB guns that you grew up with.

I would be happy to PM him but in post number 2, he has a not that says, " Please use email instead of "PM's" to contact me."
I don't have his email and when I touch on his member names etc. no information comes up. That is why I posted my email
in post number 6.
Regards

That sounds like an idiotic reply from an ignorant person since you don't even
know what it is !!

Somebody is a little touchy, eh? Maybe try some decaf.

Ya know, Memilanuk,

I clicked on the Zak Smiths name and the four tabs underneath it a few times before even leaving
my initial post. Nothing happened.
Due to your prompting, I went back and noticed the small arrow to expand his information.
Not noticing it the first three times was my fault. Your post prompted me enough to search for
information that most likely existed and that I had simply overlooked. Thank-you.

I don't use SH very often due in large part to people like Bender. They seem to like to hear themselves
talk without adding anything meaningful to the conversation. I'm on here for information only and not
the BS that so many people spue out thinking that they are funny!!

And If I used SH very often, I would have known how and where to get TBAC's information.
I also see that TBAC appears to be a manufacture of CANs and likely wouldn't be interested in
manufacturing the carrier in post #6.

As for Bender and people like him that offer their opinions and quip's, I have zero time or patients
for their ignorance and stupidity. I have no idea what the "Bear Pit" is but it sounds like people
go there to see who can be the biggest fool !!

There is no way TBAC will touch that! Creating something not part of its own product development is legally idiotic. You get into intellectual Property, Patent law and just tying up development resources for none proprietary purposes. You need to find some machine shop or college grad student with a printer and have them do it.

I’d love to Form 1 a home printed suppressor!

Who can help with that?
I wouldn't laugh so hard ... it's actually a real thing and with the right design, reinforced outer tube, PPA/PA6CF filaments and low pressure subsonic rounds, it can be done ... Some guys out there have form'd 1 their home printed cans.
I won't link to it but there's lot of sub reddit and other communities that will provide you the information.

Other than the obvious issues with posting a part with no background and asking on an open forum to have someone make it, nobody is going to touch it because there is no quantity listed and there is probably little market demand for it. Very few are going to go through the trouble (time, materials and risk) of making one part.

I have been down this road in other industries. I learned my lesson early on, with the customer supplied drawings, having to spend time analyzing and calling about errors in the print, going back and forth with produced designs, late or non-payment, etc. It simply isn’t worth it unless there is a purchase order for a certain quantity that makes the effort profitable. And to be honest, the reactions by this dude tell me that the relationship will not go well when the process starts, so I would turn it down too. If he thinks he has no patience he doesn’t know the short fuse of people that have years in machining and fabrication that come about from just these kinds of interactions, which has proven to be a very good go/no-go self-protection strategy.
