THE BATTLE OF VEGA 2945 AD: Epic cinematic promo from Roberts Space Industries' (Star Citizen) newest release 'Squadron 42', a standalone military sci fi story set in the Citizen universe.

Almost completely inspired by the events of the 1592-1598 Imjin War between the Joseon Dynasty of Korea and the invading army of the Toyotomi Shogunate of Japan, specifically the naval battles of Myeongnyang and Noryang, which sealed the fate and the absolute annihilation of the army of the Toyotomi Shogunate. The highly aggressive Vanduul Empire began to launch a systematic invasion of star systems under the jurisdiction of the United Earth Empire shortly after First Contact. Vanduul ground forces proved to be highly successful in capturing planetary real estate, occupying vast swaths of the UEE and taking millions of human prisoners. However, the UEE's strongpoint was it's naval superiority and it's battlefleets' domination of space. When a full Vanduul invasion fleet arrived at Vega, the capital of the UEE, they found more than their match waiting for them in orbit...

In humanity's darkest hour, the maverick Admiral Ernst Bishop and the UEE 2nd Fleet stationed above Vega prepared for the showdown that would determine victory of the electoral republican system of government, the market economy and the armed citizenry, or absolute subjugation to a tyrannical hiveminded power conquering it's way through the galaxy...

For comparison: The 1598 battle of Noryang:

Nice. That's one of the turkey/chicken recipes I use! The other keeps the inside red and runny. I'm never sure which one I'm cooking but it's always one of the two.

Thank you,
MrSmith
A Master Chef can prepare a turkey or chicken with both.

Kind of like the deep fried ice cream balls at the county fair.
