I agree, I like the looks more without the recess. I wish they’d do the same to the pro hunter.
@jzerfoss looks about right with yours having mini chassis and efr. Yours isn't advertised standard configuration.
Kinda I guess. The mini chassis and efr are 8.8 oz together. 2.8 lbs/2lbs 12.8oz plus 8.8 oz is 3lbs 5.6 oz. That's a 10 oz difference which seems significant in a hunting stock. I guess there is about a 4 oz variance between 2.8-3.1lbs.
@BigSkyRF has the same configuration and it's 7 oz lighter which seems odd. I'm not gonna be hiking around with it so not a big deal but would suck for anyone trying to make a weight limit.

I have 2 LRHs and they are 6oz apart from each other. Same specs. My thought is the fill properties are different. Either a bubble or lighter mixture.
Oh I see what you mean. It definitely doesn't have anything to do with lightening the stock that's for sure. Probably just an esthetic change during mid production. I imagine they have more than a few molds that weren't changed all at once. I didn't even notice it on mine so it doesn't really bother me.
Here is mine, smith received it a few weeks ago, are lightening cuts present? I'm unsure what the differences are. Is what your referring too the indentations in the buttstock under the cheek?
Yeah just the depressions under the cheekpiece - gives it a bit more character.
Mine was ordered 2-12-24 , finally came 1-2-25, open box, no bridge, love the stock, called yesterday during their work hours, no answer, left message, no return call back yet, will post back what I find out too
Altus emailed me right before Christmas when they unboxed the stocks they just got in. They said most did not have the bridge, but they would mail them separately once they came in. Maybe the bridges are back ordered? I have one from Battalion that’s supposed to arrive today. I guess I’ll find out.
Weird, I ordered a ready to ship from manners that ran me like $1600. I thought it came with the bridge. I called them and they send me one for about $150.

You’re limited to the colors they have in stock, but I got one in Everglades from the Battalion with the mini chassis , bridge and free Pure Precision bottom metal for $1653 delivered. FedEx keeps changing the delivery date, but hopefully soon.
Manners made a post on Monday saying they were out of office due to a snow day, wonder if it's the same deal today. I'm assuming they're behind on the production of the bridges and are sending them out afterwards. I was told to reach out last week on Monday this week and they'd get me one sent out but haven't heard anything yet. Pretty odd situation.
Tom chased this one up for me, and I received/paid the invoice a couple of days back - so hopefully not long now.
Their slight price variables are odd to me. I ordered mine back in February and I was just invoiced. I paid $35 for shipping, $199 for the micro chassis, $149 for the EFR rail. Total came out to $1677.95.
