What's the worst gun forum?

After siding with a Trump supporter that was being dogpiled by all the neverTrumpers on barfcom, I posted this and earned a permaban.

You think this guy is still posting?

Someone on sigtalk shot his hand and I posted one of the negligent discharge copypastas and those dorks deleted it and typed this:

Moderator Note: Many of you will note that a certain post has been deleted (it was reported). That post, whether parody, sarcasm or straight up idiocy was dangerous, factually incorrect and not up to the high standards ST members expect and have built. It was also attacking fellow members of the forum.

From a thread where someone asked if forced reset triggers are legal:

It is not safe to pay anybody any amount of money whatsoever in either wire transfers or cryptocurrency because those methods are what scammers must use to avoid (for so long as they can) going to jail.

I saw something a friend had at the local range that he callled a binary trigger. What it was, is an ordinary trigger set up to fire once when pulled then again when released.

He had it on a .22 mag clone of an MP5.

I watched him burn through three mags full of ammo at a target and sure enough, it had a machine gun type rate of fire.

I’m too old for such toys. They’d be utterly worthless for anything except wasting lots and lots of ammunition at the range at close range using rapid fire.

I want a Sharps or High Wall reproduction rifle in 45-70.

Then I can waste one great big round at a time at the 400 yard gong, and have instant gratification when I hit it.

And there’ll never be any question at all if my range toy is legal.

Binary triggers are for sale in regular gun stores. Saw one for a 10/22 for $340 just a few days ago.

I tried a binary trigger at the range once that a guy had in his AR. I shot I think 6 rounds total, then handed it back to him and said "Nope, I don't care for it."

If he likes it, good for him. Have all you want. I think it's a stupid gimmick, just like bump stocks. It doesn't mean they should be banned or anything.

I'd rather take a little more time and make accurate shots.

I finally got a hold of a mod from the M14 forum who also happened to be a veteran and we had a very productive conversation on the issues I was having and everything has since been resolved. I'm a happy camper and believe that we were able to work everything out once I could get ahold of an actual human being.

With that said- I reckon I'll just say that I don't think any particular forum is 'bad' per se but it really comes down to the moderators & admins. I had issues on (I think 3 different forums) recently and in every case we were able to work things out shortly after a line of conversation was opened. Things happen and simply by being able to communicate we were able to come to amicable solutions in every instance.

I know this is the Pit but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out how something so simple as just being able to talk amongst each other can make all the difference on how things work out.

I was browsing pistol-forum.com and it appears to be possibly neutral becauce it has an unarmed subforum moderated by Southnarc and I don't see the autistic moderators from the other forums listed.

But they have Tom Givens posting as well as articles by Mas Ayoob.
