Thought I’d start a discussion on choosing hunting rifles. I talk about both bolt and semis, so I put this in the Armory. What did/are you gentlemen carrying this year?
Took a 12” AR in 6.5 Grendel last weekend. At the end of January, I’ll have a rem 700 chambered in 7mag in my hands. Probably pull a ml out of the safe for that season in early Jan. Thinking about dragging my old 30-30 Marlin out for a weekend in between now and then. Every rifle in my safe is a “hunting rifle” so long as I’m willing to take it for the ride.
