This thread has really turned into something. I think @sirhrmechanic post a page back about motivation is spot on. I understand your point @TexPatriot , and though I agree with it in principle I think many are if the option that if the “other side” (i.e. - political class, deep state, etc) are not playing by the same rules so in essence the constitution becomes a suicide pact for those that adhere to a rule of law that doesn’t apply equally. I’m not sure anyone can say that the law hasn’t been weaponized, and I include the facist ties between government and business when I refer to “law”, as even if it’s regulation or coerced corporate policy.
We’re in a shit place that taken decades to get to. Not only do most not trust the government, we can’t trust the press either so we live under narratives based on where we choose to get our info from.
