Anyone know how long the whiskey 3 is with the enclosed forend? If I’m running a 26” barrel. How much barrel will go out past the forend?

I think it’s roughly 14”, so about 4” longer than the standard forend but I could be wrong.Anyone know how long the whiskey 3 is with the enclosed forend? If I’m running a 26” barrel. How much barrel will go out past the forend?

I know krg put out a poll months ago that asked if people wanted a longer forend whiskey 3 version. Overwhelmingly it was in favor. Curious if they act on that. Here is a photo that I took in the past for a guy. @King_beardsly was pretty spot on. Looks like you would have quite a bit barrel extending past the forend.

That would be cool if they offered something similar to the length of the C4’s forend at like 17”I know krg put out a poll months ago that asked if people wanted a longer forend whiskey 3 version. Overwhelmingly it was in favor. Curious if they act on that.
A C4 fore end for us W3 owners that want the features without having to buy the entire C4 chassis would be great. That would be cool if they offered something similar to the length of the C4’s forend at like 17”
I feel like there is some point in which the backbone itself would need to get longer. Already I think the backbone should be as long as the stock length plus spigot.I know krg put out a poll months ago that asked if people wanted a longer forend whiskey 3 version. Agreed, I mean it wouldn’t be that much hard to offer it as an option for people. I mean it would be a slight pain in the beginning but it’s not like you’ve got a ton on retooling, just need to adjust the program that runs the backbone operation.I feel like there is some point in which the backbone itself would need to get longer. Damn, guess it’s either the enclosed or track down an alpha for a longer forend.I emailed krg. They said no plans for anything longer on the whiskey 3.
I believe the Vision forend is longer as well.Damn, guess it’s either the enclosed or track down an alpha for a longer forend.
I keep forgetting about the vision forend.I believe the Vision forend is longer as well.
The alpha has provisions for one. You could also run the backbone nv bridge on it.Only think the next shot and vision are lacking is a forend top cover I think.
Next Shot said they are working on some sort of night vision cover for theirsThe alpha has provisions for one. You could also run the backbone nv bridge on it.
I can verify that's my work.My V22, with stock cerakoted by @Short-bus of Custom Gun Coatings (so says prev owner).

Kinda reminds me of multicam black with bronzeThanks Branden, I'm stoked that I ended up with some of your work. What color and pattern would that be called? I like it A LOT.
It was a Multicam Black, but with bronze instead of the green that MC Black typically has. Thanks Branden, I'm stoked that I ended up with some of your work. What color and pattern would that be called? I like it A LOT.
Didn’t know there was a Gen7 in the worksThinking about trading my C4 for a W3 folder but wondering if I should hold out for the Gen 7. Thoughts?

I used this on my W-3 chassis.Sorry I feel like I am spamming this thread but I have another dumb question.
Has anyone attached the KRG 2 round quiver to the regular Whiskey 3 polymer forend? I see there are some spots on it you could maybe drill holes and put nuts on the inside.
I have that on my Bravo. It's good and I use it for competitions but I find any time I carry the rifle slung either moving stage to stage or hunting the rounds can get knocked out. I like the idea of a hard enclosed version with adjustable tension.I used this on my W-3 chassis.

I have no knowledge about PRS but for hunting a better carry system may help that (and other things). Kifaru Gunbearer comes to mind or I carry my rifle strapped to my SG backpack with their quick release system.I have that on my Bravo. What's the name of the system that's like a plastic version of a police car radio handset bracket/hanger that people mount on their pack shoulder straps and then on their rifles or tripods?I have no knowledge about PRS but for hunting a better carry system may help that (and other things). Doesn't look like the solution for all day carry but when you need to briefly free up both hands or want to game the NRL Hunter definition of having your tripod stowed to the absolute max I have seen it work well.
Like this picture but for gun stuff:
That's it. Thank you!
Thx buddy!Very nice. I have two questions:
What's the forend grip texture made up of the small squares?
Do you find the angled bag rider much different/better than the small factory Dixon?
