Anyone know how long the whiskey 3 is with the enclosed forend? If I’m running a 26” barrel. How much barrel will go out past the forend?

I think it’s roughly 14”, so about 4” longer than the standard forend but I could be wrong.
Here is a photo that I took in the past for a guy. @King_beardsly was pretty spot on. Looks like you would have quite a bit barrel extending past the forend.
I know krg put out a poll months ago that asked if people wanted a longer forend whiskey 3 version. Overwhelmingly it was in favor. Curious if they act on that.
That would be cool if they offered something similar to the length of the C4’s forend at like 17”
A C4 fore end for us W3 owners that want the features without having to buy the entire C4 chassis would be great.
I feel like there is some point in which the backbone itself would need to get longer. Already I think the backbone should be as long as the stock length plus spigot.
Agreed, I mean it wouldn’t be that much hard to offer it as an option for people. I mean it would be a slight pain in the beginning but it’s not like you’ve got a ton on retooling, just need to adjust the program that runs the backbone operation.
Damn, guess it’s either the enclosed or track down an alpha for a longer forend.
The alpha has provisions for one. You could also run the backbone nv bridge on it.
Next Shot said they are working on some sort of night vision cover for theirs
Pooch rifle in 22br.. vanilla, but gets the job done well.
Swapped from my MDT ACC Elite back to my Whiskey 3. The W3 isn't the latest & greatest, but it still just feels right.
Left dot (POA#1) was the initial sight-in. Adjusted 0.1 up and 0.1 right, then shot right 2 dots to confirm. I'm calling that good enough for who it's for.

Thanks Branden, I'm stoked that I ended up with some of your work. What color and pattern would that be called? I like it A LOT.
It was a Multicam Black, but with bronze instead of the green that MC Black typically has.
Ohhh that’s got my attention and per usual this happens after I order a different stock to refresh my PRS rig.

it looks cool Question for any one who has painted their polymer Whiskey 3 furniture (or any polymer stock for thst matter), can you just blast it with Rustoleum or Tremclad or something or will that cause issues curing or reacting with the plastic? I want a tan one but they dont have any in stock here.
I can live with the paint flaking gradually over time but not with it being tacky for weeks or rubbing off.

Has anyone attached the KRG 2 round quiver to the regular Whiskey 3 polymer forend? I see there are some spots on it you could maybe drill holes and put nuts on the inside.

I have no knowledge about PRS but for hunting a better carry system may help that (and other things). Kifaru Gunbearer comes to mind or I carry my rifle strapped to my SG backpack with their quick release system.
What's the name of the system that's like a plastic version of a police car radio handset bracket/hanger that people mount on their pack shoulder straps and then on their rifles or tripods?
Doesn't look like the solution for all day carry but when you need to briefly free up both hands or want to game the NRL Hunter definition of having your tripod stowed to the absolute max I have seen it work well.

The small squares are just mlok rail cover panels, they are rubber and just give me a better grip surface on the aluminum forend. They are a nice tight fit and have not had one fall out on its own. Supposedly they fit keymod as well but they are really designed for mlok.

As far as the bag rider, the one on the rifle is the heavy version and mainly on there for the added weight in the rear to balance out the heavy palma 27" bbl. It is easier to adjust on the fly with the angled bag rider with say a wedge rear bag but nothing really too dramatic over the little supplied square one.
So I would say yes there is an improvement over the little guy.
I hope I'm not upsetting anyone with the graphic imagery. Picture isn't the best as my hands were chilly.
When moving through bush with the rifle slung the 20" barrel and sling plate on the spigot make for a handy sized and easy to carry rifle compared to the 24"
