Hoping maybe our resident KAC stud @Jack_L can answer.

I assume there are zero issues, but figure I’d axe anyway…

Any issues running 855A1 through a factory SR-15? (Both CQB and Carbine uppers), with 5.56 QDC. Also running Sandcutters, not that it likely makes any difference.

More for wrmfzys than anything. Will probably put 2-3K of A1 through the above gun over the course of a week.

Then why won't mine on cheap ammo? It likes loads on the warmer side and 5.56.
Because they aren't designed for shit ammo and are designed to be optionally suppressed. They are gassed correctly. Most ARs are massively over gassed to make up for shitty machining, not made to spec and weak ammo.

Ironically all my sr15s run tula and cheap shit without issue. When I hear people say they won't run I assume they are idiots and don't know basic ar maintenance and how to keep them running....lots of lube and replacing springs as they wear. I have a mod 0 that is a dedicated training gun with probably 5000 rounds of wolf and tula without cleaning and it still runs like a sewing machine. Just keep her lubed and send it.

I know how to maintain an AR, and don't really care if it won't run shitty ammo. Everything I run through it are my reloads. My son brought some steel cased ammo to the range and tried it without success. Oh well.

I don't say undergassed in a bad way, and maybe should have used a different term. Take a Colt 6920 and compare it to an SR-15. The 6920 has to have a heavy buffer and special extractor springs with a buffer to run properly.
Because retards who dont know basic AR maintenance and will run the cheapest shittiest under powered ammo (or reloads) and then complain and trash the company for making an unreliable gun. They are that way to cater to the lowest common denominator, not because that is the optimal way to build a fighting gun.

Steel case ammo is under powered shit. I know, I shoot a ton of it in training. Yet my KAC guns still run it. Weird.......

I’ve put a few mags of A1 through them with no issues. I have a bunch of issue EP mags with the blue followers. It’s for a MIL session, so they’re providing all ammo, which is A1. I’d prefer to use my own gun, which they’re cool with. If 3K rounds of A1 is going to chew it up, I’ll take a crappy LMT or DD instead.
