So I had my rifle zero'ed just fine recently, but had to send my action back for some looking over for an issue I had. But now I got the rifle back assembeled the way it was prior and went to zero again this morning and it was hitting .2 mils too high. So when I went to adjust down, I couldn't. I know I have the zero stop in play, but when I wanted to adjust the clutch, it wouldn't go anymore negative. No way to get that turret down .2 mils to get my perfect zero. There's gotta be something I'm missing here! Sat there for 2 hours trying to figure this out. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!!!

Right as soon as I posted this thread, I think I know the problem. I was assuming free spinning the clutch to the left would cause higher elevation. All that time I couldn't see that wasn't the case. WOW! I just needed to free the clutch a little bit and then lock down my cap and I would've had it figured. If I'm making sense. Not happy with myself at the moment. LOL! Talk about a brain fart!!!

One thing I will add that is a little unrelated but you need to be careful of. I have had a piece of debris or possibly flashing of some sort sit between the clutch of the zero stop and turret and what it did was make it so that the zero stop was actually half way between clicks. You only noticed it on that first tenth mil off of zero, like it didn't have far to move for .1 mil. This actually ended up causing a lot of other adjustment issues. Took me a while to chase it. Make sure the zero stop mechanics are nice and clean and make sure that zero backstop engages after the turret moves into a solid detent.
