Given the same weight bullet, is there an advantage to a 6mm CM with a light bullet vs a 22 CM? Looking at load data there seems to be a couple hundred fps difference, with the 6mm CM being faster.
That's how it always works with cases that are the same general size.
Bullet weight being the same, the larger bore will be faster. The larger bore will also typically have a better barrel life. But the smaller bore will have a longer bullet meaning better BC.
What are you using it for? A 95 smk over 3100 is great for recoil and wind, but with 38+ grains down a 22…not so much for consistency or longevity if you’re shooting matches.
