Hey guys. I'm considering a move to north Texas. Specially the Flower Mound and Denton area. I wanted to ask....

Any ranges that locals recommend?

What distances can you shoot to?

Is there BLM or state land that one can target shoot on?

No BLM land out here. Lots of great ranges, Gravestone, Fouled Bore, Fossil Point, Northeast Texas Tactical, and ETTS in Waxahachie should have you covered.

Look up North Texas Shooters Association. It is a private gun range located just north of Denton. The fees are reasonable. They have a couple of trap and skeet ranges, rifle (out to 200 yards) pistol, and a five stand setup.
