ARNVG not shutting off when flip up

Hi Guys,

I thought the ARNVG will auto shut off when flip up? Is that normal or am I missing something?


It does shut off when I swing it to the side.

The tube cut-off is built into the individual pods, not the unit as a whole. So flip the whole thing up to stow and they stay on. Articulate individual pods up and away from your eye and it breaks the contact with the bridge and shuts off.

Tube shutoff is when you roll each tube up to the side.
