if there is anyone on this board that owns or has used the Leica AB+ binos, I have a few questions that you may be able to assist with:
1. The manual indicates that the “main” button both turns on and off the internal electronics. And while it does indeed turn it on, I cannot seem to get it to turn off (I’ve tried a brief press and or a long press with no joy). Any suggestions?
2. I have paired it with my Kestrel and have the Balistic curve turned on in the AB+. Should I be able to see some of the Kestrel ballistic data in the bino, or does the bino simply transmit range data to the Kestrel?
3. When pairing with the Leica Ballistic Ap, I do not see any of the ballistic data in the Bino, is this the intended result?
I am new to these binoculars, and while I realize that my questions may be somewhat elementary, the manual is not terribly helpful and there is little if any info on the Internet regarding my questions.
Thank you in advance.

Curious too
I have returned the Leica and replaced it with a Sig Kilo 10 Gen 2 which can show the required dope on one screen without having to scroll back and forth, has external wind set buttons, reticle choices, the ability to adjust the laser, and more. While the Leica glass might be a tiny bit better, the overall function of the Sig, IMO, beats the pants off of the Geovid.

Both the kestrel and the Leica app should display elevation then wind hold after the range. Are you sure the bluetooth is on in the binos? You will see the icon in the lower right corner.

I own a pair. You can set the time limit of how long the unit stays on once you press the button. Then after that set time it goes off on its own. I’ve paired with my kestrel as well and it will send the range to the kestrel and that’s all as far as I know. You should see the ballistic data scroll through in the bino if you have your rifle profile built into the app and synced to the bino after your press the button to range it. It will give the range, then your elevation, then your windage. This is based on your gun profile and whether your telling the binos to use internal sensors or external weather data from the internet.
