Good evening gentlemen,

I’m looking for an aftermarket stock for my tikka supervarmint in 223 caliber. It’s going to be used mainly for FTR/Target shooting. I was leaning towards the Bell and Carlson Target stock CTR. I have a CTR bottom metal and mag to go with it. What’s your guys opinions on it and are there any other suggestions you may have.

Thanks gents

Well I personally like KRG stocks, especially the Bravo. They make it with CTR mag or AICS mag bottom metal but for the price of another CTR mag you could probably buy three AICS mags.

My only real gripe about them is the forend is a bit short. The rifle sits on a bipod or hangs from a sling much better with their spigot extension but a spigot and sling plate is near half the price of the chassis.

That said they feel very McMillan-like for a lot less money.
