I just know that I looked like a freaking strawberry every time I had to wear that thing. Even with long sleeve undershirt.

Hair spray helped. Thank God for the big hair styles of the 80's. I probably used enough to put a hole in the ozone layer.
My first 4wd pickup was a 1989 Chevy K1500 I bought new in the fall of '89.
It caught on fire and burned to the ground New years day 2000.
Bought one just like it from my neighbor about 3 years ago and been fixing it up off on on since then.
I quit driving it several months ago because the front end needed rebuilding.
Got home from work Friday and the wife said she bought me something for the truck and she put it in the front seat.
Wasn't expecting what I found when I opened the door...

She has two cars, and I have two more trucks.
She just wanted to help me get the the old '89 back on the road. It's as simple as that.
