Suppressors 223 can. Polonium versus OCM5 versus 338 ultra?

According to Andrew, the full-size Polo and OCM5 are neck-and-neck, just one is OTB and the other is not.
I would think the gigantic .338 Ultra would be the quietest, but that big .338 bore with a .224 bullet might be a hindrance that negates any advantage with all that volume.
I'd be interested to see a full-size Polo vs. a .338 Ultra side-by-side test just out of curiosity.
If I had to say this, if you want quieter than all of the above, just get a Hydrogen-S 6.5mm or a Hydrogen-L 6.5mm can. The Hydro-S 6.5mm is stupid quiet on anything short-action or AR15 sized cartridges, and on 6.5mm or smaller bores. My Hydro-S 6.5mm on my 20" .25 Creedmoor shocks folks at the range that a 7" can is quieting it down that much.

338 ultra is stuuiipd quiet with 223 bolt gun. No idea on a gasser... However do you really want a footlong can on there
I know the first time I was around a Polonium me and several others in our squad were impressed. The guy was shooting a 6 creed and it was really quite and I have a TBAC Ultra 9. The second time I’ve heard one was on a full auto AR and it still was impressive.
Polonium on 12.5 gasser is pretty good actually. On my 20" it's gassy but suppresses well for 556
I've read many times where Andrew said the OCM5 is quieter than the polonium in the numbers but they sound close to the ear. I have 2 OCM5s and a 338 ultra I've shot on 223 bolt guns and I'd say the 338 is quieter but not by a lot.

I have a Polonium K that is surprisingly quiet (for a K can). What exactly are you trying to do with this supressor? Is it going on a bolt gun? SBR? SPR/DMR?
I'd bet the 338 ultra is about the quietest on most guns due to sheer volume. I've run the 338 side by side with a magnus on nearly identical 6mm dasher and the magnus was a shade better, I think simply due to the smaller bore. The magnus and 338 are near identical in size when next to each other.
Yes, but you can’t put a regular end cap on it…Has to run the break. That’s why I didn’t get an RR model…I just went regular Magnus-S .30 cal. Very happy with it.
@Zak Smith may be able to give you some insight into why you can’t do that with the magnus line but you can with the Fly line.
