Are these sold anywnere?

Looking for around fifty to a hundred of them, for .223 Remington (I only have a few in this caliber).

Picture above is someone else’s, and in .308 Winchester.

Like a previous post mentioned before, they're usually someone else's trash.

Here's a couple of alternatives if you don't find what you want.

Norma makes these for some versions of their hunting ammunition, they break down into 5rd trays. I have seen them in store for their premium 308, 6.5 PRC, and even 223 ammunition.

MTM has slip and flip top carriers in 20rd, I have both and they are dirt cheap.

I use the flip tops with a piece of foam or sticky back velcro to keep them from rattling around and store loaded ammo in their 100rd flip tops

The Norma ones are better in my opinion. The older Federal ones were more robust, the newest version seems to be thinner, saves material I guess so cheaper. I like the Norma's for transporting extra rounds beyond what I take loaded in mags. Are they high speed cool-no but I also didn't spend 100 bucks on a cartridge holder. Only downfall in either is if you are loading long for the heavies, etc. they don't hold the rounds correctly, especially the Norma ones as the case head snaps into place normally.

The only Norma one I have is a 308, top to bottom 223 versions, also shown is one of the 20rd MTMs with what ever 223 RDF bullet Nosler made, FTR they are horribly inaccurate.

Black Old Federal
White New Federal
Black middle left Ammo Inc
Black middle right Nosler
Black bottom left Remington
Black bottom right Norma

Norma and Federal do not touch the bullet and are secure, the others either touch the bullet or are too loose to hold them without a box. I will dig around in the ammo/brass box and see if I have any others that may work for alternatives.

The ones from Federal suit my needs perfectly - perfect fit as far as stacking in my range bag is concerned (no Tetris skills required), absolute minimalist, tight enough to not let go of the cartridges, and I do like the soft plastic.

Already went through the 50 round MTM "Ammo Box" approach - they're usually made for generic sizes - didn't like the use of space. If that 20 round box pictured above was specifically made for .223 Remington dimensions, I'd be interested.

Almost like a divider in a Pelican case, if you will.

They do sell the foam for the bigger boxes. The 20rd flip tops load tip down in the MTMs nestled on the shoulder. I just use sticky back fuzzy velcro trimmed to fit on anything "match or hunting". Range ammo I toss in the 100rd flip top cases. I will dig out one of the flip tops with velcro, I like it because it stays in place and cushions but doesn't put constant pressure on the case. Basically cuts out the rattling noise.

I much prefer the mtm boxes, but I like the generic, store bullet up instead of bullet down. Keeps the moister powder off the bullet which is one of the things I suspect leads to the cold welding/galvanic corrosion of the bullet to the case and this effects bullet release. If long term storage and repeated temp changes with condensation etc are expected.

You peeps are missing the genius of the Federal cartridge holders……they are designed to be worn on your belt via the belt loops at either end.

They must have been designed by an H1-B Indian engineer.

No other manufacturer has that, that AJ am aware of.

I have a shit ton of .308 but zero .223x
