MAXED OUT: The term used by storm chasers to describe a combination of every possible condition that can produce numerous tornadoes along any given sector of an active dry line. Usually by 10:00 AM, if there is:
1. Ambient humidity above 85%,
2. Ambient temperature above 80°F,
3. Presence of high altitude shear caused by frontal collision with temperature difference of 20° or more,
4. Development of thundershowers and localized downpours before noon,
Conditions are labeled as "maxed out", ie., the most dangerous designation.

And adding a light, laser, etc if you desire. And a red dot tends to be faster and more accurate than iron sites.

That said, it’s a friggin’ lever gun.

I do use a RDS (Cyelee Wolf 0) on my .45 LC 1865 Spencer. Makes snap-shooting and fast target acquisition a breeze. A 2 inch section of standard rail is all that is necessary, using the same screw mounts that the regular rear sight goes in. 10 seconds is all it takes to switch back and forth...

If I ever see one or have one sent to me for repairs that have an AR pistol grip attached to it though, I am gonna act the fool, seriously... :ROFLMAO:
