That's very generous of you to pass this scope base along to another member, thank you! On other forums guys would probably get the base and flip it on ebay or something, so I really like to see guys like you helping out other forum members. Instead of drawing a new number, I'll ask the members here if anyone needs one of these scope bases. That way we can get it in the hands of someone who needs it for their collection or clone build.

Does anyone here need an old original Redfield 700SA scope base for an M40 build or a transitional M40A1 build? If so, please make a post here in this thread and let me know if you need this base for a clone build. The first person who posts that they need it for a clone build will receive @Aqua Mark's Redfield 700SA scope base! Let's keep this base available for the people who didn't win one of this year's Christmas gifts. Thanks again for passing this forward, @Aqua Mark. I hope that we can find a good home for this scope base.

Wanted to give everyone a quick update, I've boxed up pretty much all of the gifts for people who have contacted me with their shipping information. I still need to reach out to other people to get their shipping info. Christmas, New Year's, spending time with family, family emergencies, working on the SSA's M40A5 raffle rifle, making a few forum posts when I can, trying to respond to other messages in my inbox on this forum, boxing/shipping other packages in addition to these Christmas gift packages, and trying to deal with a terrible lower back injury that really limits what I can do each day.

All of these things have made my progress pretty slow, so I really appreciate everyone's patience as I get the gifts boxed up and shipped out. Thank you! I've been slowly working my way through the gift list, and I've been piling the packages up. I'll try to get to the post office tomorrow afternoon and ship all of the packages that are currently ready to go. I just wanted to post an update on my progress, just incase people were wondering where their Christmas gift was or if it might have been lost it the mail or anything else has happened.

Also, I've also received a ton of messages in the past 2 weeks, but I haven't had time to respond to all of them yet. People have sent me messages asking for information, advice, parts identification, parts valuation, etc. I want to answer everyone's questions, but I need to complete a few other things before I can get to the rest of these messages. To all of the guys who have contacted me asking these questions, I'm sorry that I haven't responded to most of the messages, but I'll get to your messages asap.

Thanks again for everyone's patience, that really helps me out! A lot of you guys will be receiving tracking numbers tomorrow. I'll sent that information back to everyone in the conversations they started with me when they provided their shipping information.

I just mailed off a ton of boxes today, I'll try to give everyone tracking info. The only boxes I haven't mailed are the ones I don't have shipping information for, the guys who won the ammo (I need to figure out how to ship those boxes, USPS turned me away), and the 2 guys who don't want the 700SA bases. I'll reach out to everyone who hasn't contacted me yet and I'll get their information. Sorry it's taken me a little while getting stuff out, but I'm happy to report that the vast majority of the Christmas gifts are en route to their respective winners! Congrats again, and I hope you guys enjoy your gifts!

I also added a 2nd special gift to each package! I still had some of the original USMC PWS made M40A3 receiver filler pieces from when they plugged up the side bolt release holes in the early 2000's. It's a very small piece of metal, so look for it in your package! It's not much of a gift on it's own, but it is an original piece of USMC Scout Sniper history and I figured that many of you guys might find it interesting. These are original USMC artifacts that are over 20 years old. I hope you guys enjoy this tiny addition to your collections!

Christmas gifts from this thread should be showing up today and tomorrow, has anyone received their gift yet? If so, please post an update in this thread, especially if you're using the gift and have it mounted to a firearm or something. There's still a few people that I need to contact for their shipping information, and I need to figure out how to ship the ammo. I really hope that everyone likes the gift they won!
