Anyone get one of the plus models yet? They were announced over the summer and there was a preorder on the site. I can’t seem to find them anymore. I did sign up for the preorder (no deposit) but haven’t heard anything. Just curious if maybe anyone is testing them on here or if they are just slowly filling orders before making them available more publicly.

I have one and am very pleased with it. It is pricy, but the video is really pretty good. The app leaves alot ot be desired, and I feel the Tactacam App is better, but the Trigger Cam is really nice, other than the app.

Same. Signed up for preorder, but still waiting. Feels like first world problems when you have mostly S&B scopes that don’t fit the Triggercam 2.1.

I emailed them last week asking for an update and did not get a response. Note that I asked them if they were ever going to make a Triggercam for larger oculars and they told me back in 2022 they were working on one. Asked for update in 2023 and they said still working on it. Then in 2024 asked for followup and they indicated the Summer timeframe and that kept pushing out to where we are today.

I had a Triggercam 2.1 and sold it only because I primarily use ZCO. Would really like that 2.1+.

Labradar site has them (they are distributors). I haven't purchased yet because the site implies it will ONLY fit oculars 48-51mm in size. Does anyone know if that is true? I have also sent an inquiry back to Labradar. I don't want to buy this to use on my ZCO and then find out I also have to buy another $600 regular Triggercam to fit on smaller scopes. I would have thought they would include a full set of collets with this thing to use on most scopes large or small.

I haven't tried anything but my ZCOs. However, it comes with 8 sleeves, with the thickest one having an internal diameter of about 39.5mm. I'm going to guess the range is going to cover 40mm to 51mm or so. Back when TriggerCam had the spec page up, I vaguely remember they had a range that started below 48mm.

I can confirm it fits on the newer S&Bs with the flared occular.

NF ATACR 4-16x will probably work if that weird lock ring can be removed (yeah, I unscrewed it but it doesn't seem to come off easily)

The geometry of the ocular end of the NF CFS 6-36x spotter prevents it from getting fully installed - might be useable; will have to test.

Granted, I've never actually used one of these before because it would never fit, so we'll see if I'm totally wrong. Seems to sit pretty far back.

Any update on using it with the CFS? I’ve been trying to find a good way to film through mine and haven’t found a good option yet. This is would be ideal if it worked.

@Stag556

I did a bit more in-depth test trying to get the Triggercam 2.1+ onto the CFS to no avail. Even with no collar and the tension bolt backed all the way out, it still won't fit. Even if you just sort of get it part way on, I couldn't get a very useful image.

Thanks for posting an update. Shame it won't work. I grabbed the NF extension piece thinking I could mount a GoPro to it but the camera can't get low enough to look through the eye piece properly. Maybe ill look into those magnetic scope caps, not sure if they sell one to fit the CFS or not though.

What is everyone using these for? I'd like to use one for solo training, to go back and review misses.
Is this better or is the SD level better for solo training?
Local one day matches to See where I suck under the clock. Also on hunts.

Really worth it when I can see what my son sees and I explain to him what he’s doing.

Educate me. How does this connect to an iPhone. Can it be used to make video recordings on the iPhone.

(And why the heck does it have to mount on the left where my level and data cards reside???).

So it now mounts properly on the TT735?

Is the overall unit larger or just the mounting section?

I no longer have the 2.1 as I sold it when I realized it didn't fit the ZCOs.

However, from what I can recall from memory, the housing is the same dimensions. The ring clamping section has to be larger. The buttons are on the 'top' and the port holes for the focus ring and memory card are on the 'side' such that when it's clocked to the 90 degree position to the left (9 o'clock when behind the gun), the buttons will now be on the side and the mem card would be at the top.
