This is one way to fail your probation when you're hired as a corrections officer.

You leave a bar drunk and run over your ex's head in the parking lot. He definately needs more training.

A person who reported to have witnessed the incident told an officer that the victim and Boucher had both been at the same bar. Upon leaving, the victim approached Boucher’s truck to speak with him and — as Boucher was sitting in the driver’s seat — the victim appeared to suddenly slump over, the witness said. Boucher allegedly started the engine, turned the steering wheel and backed up, “striking (the victim’s) head with the front driver-side wheel,” according to the report. A witness yelled and punched the truck’s window in an attempt to intervene as Boucher allegedly continued to back up over the victim’s head, according to the report. A witness told an officer they were confident Boucher knew that the victim was underneath the vehicle but unsure if Boucher had caused her to collapse or if she did so because she was intoxicated.

Every correction officer I have ever met has just been scum.

I had one (former) as a neighbor here in Wyoming. Of course he told everybody that he used to be a Sheriff deputy. It was a constant battle to get his family and friends to stop parking in my driveway. Then he acted like I had killed his dog and would pass within a couple feet of me and not even look at me, much less return a courtesy hello.

He got his law degree while living/ renting here.

When they moved out, he left his oil change leftovers and a big oil stain in the driveway among other junk strewed about. I took care of that for the elderly landlady. I was disgusted.

The floor in the main-room had been pissed on so much by his dogs that it had to be replaced including the sub floor. The owner spent $20k on the repair. They left a $1300 security deposit. She didn’t bother going after him for the rest because he had become a lawyer.

Recently, I found out that he is a back-up or alternate municipal judge here in town now……. Better keep my nose clean.😳

His wife is a local realtor and sends this elderly landlady solicitations in the mail periodically asking to manager her many rental properties. She shows them to me both furious and in awe…..

Nice.......

I have typically found that anyone in LE, corrections, etc, are living either just barely at middle class or slightly under it. They are just a cunt hair away from the people they are jailing or babysitting. I don't expect much above that from them......

Also, when your day-to-day job revolves around shit people, is it really a stretch of the mind, that they become shit people themselves?

Well they go around telling folks they are/were cops (Because in many places I guess technically they are.) but every cop I know says “Oh he wasn't even a real cop” . Something strange about that.

All the stories of female corrections officers banging the male prisoners is bizarre as well.

Not sure where you live. I live in a small town in Wyoming of 500-600 people with a low cost of living. We use a fine based system to keep our cops robustly funded (about 60 % of the budget). There are years that our chief of a department of five, in a little town that doesn't even have a stop light, has been pretty deep into six figures. Heck, he makes more than our county attorney. Of course, the tourists pay for it.

I'll bet you have quality in that department too. If these jobs pay what they should, it allows for recruiting very qualified individuals.

I have long advocated for better funding for police but assuming money 💰 equates to “quality” is flawed thinking.

Policing for profit, with a direct quip pro quo, leads to abuse. This has been well established. “the tourists pay for it” sure sounds good. 😳

Quotas and “65% of your PD budget from fines” should be illegal.

The motivation for every cop should be to protect and serve the public. Not fine, fine, fine to pay my salary and my retirement fund.

As a Wyoming resident this is damn embarrassing to read, here in the purported land of the free. Fuck…..

Police training needs a complete and fundamental overhaul. I am quoting cops who have said this, both publicly and to me personally. Better funding, better training and the proper mindset/ motivation is what will make the most impact.

Finally DEI has no place in policing. There are too many unqualified DEI Officers and police Chiefs.

Do this and you will find a lot of “law and order” civil libertarians rally to support police.

No.
I am vexed as to why they put women in mens prisons, knowing this immutable fact.

Feminism has resulted in all sorts of odd things in society.

Men are afraid to say what they know out loud, and now three generations of men and women have been raised under feminist orthodoxy, and the newest two generations of men actually believe feminist principles until they discover through experience that the orthodoxy is not objectively real.

I mean, younger folks actually support women in combat roles. They grew up watching women kick ass and men be fumbling oafs in every piece of entertainment for their entire lives. Why wouldn't they support what their experience (even if it is all laughably unbelievable fiction) has shown them to be best?

Even conservative churches are full of men prattling on about gender equality, women exercising leadership in the church, leading prayer or bible discussion, and referring to marriage as a partnership. The Bible says very different things about the role of men and women in the church and in marriage, but most "christian" men don't know this, because it isn't taught (and nobody reads the Bible unguided on their own anymore) and the men who do know are afraid, afraid, lacking in courage to teach the Biblical truth about how God has designed men and women to reflect the relationship of Christ to his church.

Even atheists can look and see that a woman should not be in a male prison except in the visitation room visiting an inmate.

This is common sense, but society lacks common sense ever since feminist doctrine became the norm, somewhere in the 1960s. I do not know exactly when, but in the 70s, as I was in elementary school, I remember folks teaching that men and women were the same and that any psychological differences were imposed by society, so things were in full swing by then. Simple observation of a parent raising boys and girls should have put that one to bed in about 30 seconds.

More importantly than men being afraid to say what they know out loud is that men reward loud, fat, bitchy women with sex. If men would reward only appropriate feminine behavior, you would see women drastically change in a short period of time, but men are too weak and go along with anything because they are desperate to get laid. When you reward behavior, you get more of it.

Just look at supposedly "conservative" men fawning all over the fictional "Beth" character on Yellowstone. That tells you all you need to know about American society and men today. Pathetic.
