Is there anything more rewarding than seeing new shooters discover the fun of accurate and easy shooting rifles? Got to go shooting with my niece and nephew over the holidays and they had a ball shooting milk jugs with my 22 and 223. Pretty sure they are hooked.

Being the cool uncle who shows you new, fun things or being the doting aunt who encourages you to have another slice of cake will provide some great memories for your nieces and nephews as they get older. You're doing good, man.

The most rewarding experience of my shooting hobby, was a few years ago when I was shooting at a 1-Mile target and heard my spotter say "IMPACT" about 4 seconds before I heard the steel target "DING" in the distance. There's nothing like that feeling of hitting an ELR target at a distance you've never reached before. After that, comes all the joys of helping others. Does that make me a selfish bastard?
