I see a lot of these and they are badass, are you just using a big sponge to apply this?Krylon
Does the Krylon stick to the chassis well or will it peel after time. Nice work. I have a Magpul Hunter thats gotten a bit scratched, thought it might be a good one to experiment with.Krylon
Taped everything off that I didn’t want paint on. Bolt, pressure relief hole, safety, trigger etc. then sprayed it with big stripes for a base. Tore off a piece of sea sponge and did alternating sizes with that lighter dirt tan color. Fun project if you wanna get a little artsy. Very cheap project lol.I see a lot of these and they are badass, are you just using a big sponge to apply this?
Some folks “prep” the surface with sandpaper or something. All I did was clean it well with shotgun cleaner spray. Could use brake cleaner too. Just gotta be careful. After I sprayed it all, went over it with a layer of matte clear coat.Does the Krylon stick to the chassis well or will it peel after time. Nice work. I have to admit, I actually really like thatHere’s more rattle can. Multicam stencil kit, but I wanted colors inspired by 1990s Taco Bell restaurants. I only shoot it at the range and in matches, so I went a little crazy with it.
It turned out better than I thought even with the little imperfections here and there. My friends who have seen it in person all think it's awesome lol.I have to admit, I actually really like that

Those ran rifles rapco field drab?Big fan of the rattle can, although the ATX camera cerakoted. The SP10 is rattle canned.
Not sure I understand the question. Are you looking for the colors? Those ran rifles rapco field drab?
Sorry typo, the two tan rifles on the tripods in the second pic was wondering if that was sprayed with Rapco field drab. Not sure I understand the question. Are you looking for the colors?
You'll never lose it in the high grass. Nice work.It turned out better than I thought even with the little imperfections here and there. My friends who have seen it in person all think it's awesome lol.
Looks like one of @Short-bus Nightstalker schemes to me?Cerakoted stock I picked up off the px a few years back. Never found out who did the cerakote though View attachment 8545993
How was working with them? I'm not too far from them and been seeing their work on IG
No problems, I'll use them again. How was working with them? I'm not too far from them and been seeing their work on IG
The things I’d do for that JAE LA chassis!!
Thanks man! Red Beard Gunworks does all my stuff for me. Kyle is absolutely a genius with it. Got more stuff coming from him too. That’s freaking awesome
Looks like a wiebad to me.What pad is that on the cheek riser?
Beautiful. I don’t know how much it weighs but that looks like a legitimately practical (target/hunting/varminting) set up. What are the specs. I’ve wondered about the JAEs, decent?
Not OP but I’d guess 19-20lbs without a bipod. Looks like an MTU/Comp Contour barrel.Beautiful. I don’t know how much it weighs but that looks like a legitimately practical (target/hunting/varminting) set up. What are the specs. I’ve wondered about the JAEs, decent?
This is the MDT remake- it’s overpriced and not particularly good for anything. I strongly recommend against them.Beautiful. I don’t know how much it weighs but that looks like a legitimately practical (target/hunting/varminting) set up. What are the specs. I’ve wondered about the JAEs, decent?
