Asked a similar question for gassers but outside of a .22 what’s the most enjoyable caliber to shoot suppressed in a bolt gun?

Lever action .357 with handloads. 160ish grain bullet at 900 fps from a 16 inch barrel is very quiet and whacks targets very nicely.

Bolt gun experience is the same with less stetson needed.

44 mag is also fun if you need more bullet, just comes with more noise. 9mm is hard to argue with too in a manual action rifle, very quiet.

I'm actually a big fan of 300prc in an AXSR with a TBAC 338 Ultra Gen 2 SR.

Most don't have larger magnums in their fun to shoot category, but for whatever reason this combo is just a pleasure to shoot. Easy on the shoulder and the ears.

Properly loaded subsonic 300blk (Or 308win if you have tons of trail boss) at distances past 300y. It’s like 22lr but less sensitive to wind and easier to spot. It’ll train your fundamentals.
