Tammy Duckworth Lays Into Hegseth

Buncha stupid bitches and a mangina complaining about things they do not understand. It's all math! If half the squad is wounded in battle, the remaining half must exfil em and save themselves. Most females cannot carry a big azz male Marine off the field. It's mass, weight, distance and speed. One woman struggling to move a guy puts em both at risk. Common sense is not common enough. There are a lot of other places women can serve with equal effectiveness in war...the front lines is not among them.

Pete did a great job today.

Standards. I've been bitching about them for too long. As a 50+ year old trooper I had to pass our annual fitness test at a higher level than a 21 year old female right out of the Academy. I had to run faster, lift a greater percentage of weight, more sit-ups...... I don't know what the military standards are male vs. female, but whatever standards there are for a man in a combat role should not be reduced or lessened to allow for a female to enter that same role. I hope Hegseth stands his ground and dumps the DEI BS.

Until the U.S. is ready to discuss the differences between being in a military occupational specialty with the primary purpose of offensive combat and being in a military occupational specialty with the primary purpose of defensive combat, none of this will be resolved.

A lot of jerks serve heroically in combat, come back wounded, and are still jerks nobody should listen to.

I had a total turd of a kid in my platoon back in ~ '07-08. That kid was an epic fail at everything he did. Took him to Iraq in 2008, where he managed to get blown up by a suicide vest (not his fault). After the initial explosion, he turned into a superhero (minus the use of both his arms). Took it like a complete champ, and was even trying to help out. The entire platoon's opinion of him changed overnight...he was born again hardcore.

Then, about two months later when he was back stateside and the rest of the boys were still over...we started seeing his MySpace page. He'd titled it "My Country's Hero", and he'd posted about a hundred photos of himself either looking pathetic or wearing his uniform incorrectly. To make matters worse, he came back to us upon our return and IMMEDIATELY turned into a little bitch that failed at everything he did again. He even went so far as to bitch to me one day about why he had to sit in the office and answer phones. I guess he thought he'd earned the right to sit at home and collect a paycheck from there on out. We made him go away not long after.

I didn't keep up with him like I have with a lot of the others. Last I heard from some of the boys he is still the same POS that he turned back into. Sad.

* I just lost another one of the boys from that deployment over Christmas to suicide. That one was a good kid. It sucks.

I love my freedoms and I am grateful to anyone who defended them while I was back home hiding behind an ocean, being a flabby, selfish civilian, but we have some well-known heroes I would not want to be friends with. On the other hand, would I cover their check in a restaurant? It would be my honor.

This is just a sample of what is coming after Jan 20.
No holds barred against Trump and anyone associated with him
That is great. I think they are just outing themselves to more people every day. I hope they keep acting like this because I think they drive people in the middle to our cause. They don't even bother trying to act logical or impartial.

A start would be looking up his back stabbing of Eddie Gallager

The last time Eddy Gay-Licker got "back-stabbed" it was by an Afghan Police Colonel... and the lube was Apple Jelly.

He finished with a moneyshot all ovvaaahhh that beard!

Our Warriors gave him the front-stab... and in the Army it would have been much worse for him. He got very lucky that there are no standards and discipline in the Navy.

As for Senator Duckworth- you can agree or disagree with her politics, but her service is beyond reproach.

Unlike Hegseth, she was a Warrior-by-profession and not a part-timer begging some PSG to lead a patrol while the PL was on mid-tour leave... so that he could claim that he was a "Platoon Leader in the GWOT" later in life.

She flushed that career in the shitter just like McStain.
Fucked up soup sandwich for all of her "service" to Illinois residents.
A conflation of the short sighted.
50 plus years in mentioned hell hole to back ^^^ this up.

Agree or disagree with his politics- McCain was an honorable man.

One eyed willy is a boot licking dick bag beurocrat regardless if you prefer jelly or honey.
Just a fact no matter how you spin it, none of us are innocent I agree but I haven't ever shit on or sabotaged anyone I served with or didn’t serve with.

If Eddy Gay-Licker was in the Army, he would be lucky if he only got shit on (literally... by an entire platoon... plus attachments- HUMINT, IPLO Trainers, MWD... yes, even the dog... shitting directly on his face and head. Terps too.)

To me this just shows a complete disconnect by the Senator. She said she didn't expect him to be an accountant but by definition she's saying that 'the budget' and hence accountants are what matters and makes things run.

The first thing this implies is that the exact same way it's operated for the past 30 years is the exact same way it should be operated for the next 30 years. Literally anyone would experience death by accounting if you try to lead through the accounting process.

The second thing is she's on the beauracracy side of things for sure. If you have a fighting force literally anywhere in harms way, and they are making decisions and requests based solely on the needs to accomplish the mission, how much of that is based solely on budgets?

If the roles were reversed, and a Democrat President-Elect nominated someone as morally flawed and patently unqualified as Hegseth ... every Republican Senator on this committee would have a litter of kittens right there in the Capital Rotunda. There are so many highly qualified Republican-aligned candidates that would be excellent as SecDef, I just don't get nominating an alcoholic womanizing TV news host for one of the most important roles in the country. I just don't get it.

The main problem with the Pentagon is that it can't pass an audit.

It can't pass an audit because of time-synch issues with reporting. Every time they want to snapshot the spend, each leader backs up the timeline... and by the time the numbers are reported, they are X-Million-Dollars old. By the time the reports get consolidated, they are XX-Million-Dollars old. By the time the consolidated report can be analyzed, it is XXX-Million-Dollars old.

Asking the SECDEF about what batteries he used in his NODs (mine took BA-5567Us, then AAs, then CR123As)... or exposing the fact that his National Guard unit was probably never issued NODs... is ridiculous and absurd.

It's literally the same thing as having Bezos in front of the Senate and complaining that your Amazon delivery driver tossed the package too hard on the stoop and minorly-damaged the internal packaging of whatever dildos and iPhone cases were inside.

Duckworth was spot-on.

No. An “honorable” man would have voted to repeal and fix Obamacare for the sake of his constituents.

John McCain killed the healthcare reform just to spite Trump. Where is the “honor” you speak of in that?

“Have you ever led a major audit…”
“No, but apparently those people so far whom Congress has deemed qualified, haven’’t been able to do so, either!”
“You are not qualified!”
“Well, maybe, but Congress recently confirmed as qualified a Justice who can’t define a woman. At least I know which bathroom to use.”
Shrill, out of control Marxists, many with Dual Citizenship. Sick of them.

First, I’m a bit perplexed what Suckworth’s service has to do with her senate career. She crossed the rubicon into politics and has demonstrably voted with every single subversive measure that has undermined our country for at least the last four years. She gets an “F” from the NRA for her anti 2A positions, she’s voted to strip your civil rights during COVID, she’s voted against the 1st Amendment, she’s voted for illegal immigrants over American citizens, she voted to use taxpayer funds for the most nefarious left wing policies, she voted against election integrity measures and the list goes on. She has no honor nor deserves any accolades. She is part of the contingent destroying our country from within. Plus she’s dumber than a bag of dirt. She’s proven who she really is and what she’s made of…shit.

I think Tammy Duckworth is just another lefty twat nowadays. Gotta give her her due, though. She managed to land that Blackhawk in a fashion where she lived through it. Badass combat pilot.
I’m not taking anything away from what happened to her, but she didn’t land that helicopter. The PIC landed the bird. She was another O3 battle captain putting herself on the schedule once a week (her words, not mine).

Pilots need to maintain proficiency, so yeah... she flew on a weekly basis. TWICE a week, actually... in her own words, in her book... in a 20 year old bird, with an M60 machine gun hanging in the door.

She almost got shot down by an RPG on a run to Irbil, her bird got shot up on a run near Abu Gharib, and YES... she kept on flying- twice weekly.

I don't know what kind of crazy spin you're trying to impart on the history of the war, or whether you're with the Iraqi Insurgency, a Rooskie troll farm, or the enemy within... but it makes you look bad, man.

Tammy Duckworth said:
A rocket-propelled grenade blew through the plexiglass “chin bubble” window at my feet and detonated in a violent fireball right in my lap. The explosion vaporized my right leg. It blew my left leg up into the bottom of the instrument panel, shearing off the shin below the knee and leaving my leg hanging by just a thin thread of flesh. And because I had leaned forward, reaching to activate the GPS, the explosion also tore through my right arm, violently shredding it into a bloody mess of muscle, sinew, and bone. In a single, shattering instant, my body was blown apart. My skin was burned and riddled with shrapnel, and blood began pumping out of my wounds.

I didn’t know any of this. At the moment of the explosion, my brain went into overdrive trying to figure out what to do next. Dan hadn’t responded when I said we’d been hit, so I thought he must be severely wounded. I called out to Chris and Kurt, but no one answered.

In shock and acting on pure instinct, I tried to fly the helicopter. Unaware that my legs were gone, and focused on finding a landing spot, I struggled to press the pedals. At the same time, I tried to pull on the cyclic stick between my legs, which controls the rotor and almost certainly had stopped functioning. The RPG had knocked out our avionics system, so we couldn’t hear or talk to each other, and the cockpit was quickly filling with black smoke. We’re gonna get a compressor stall, I thought, knowing the No. 2 engine must have sucked in debris from the explosion. We’re going to have a hydraulic failure. My mind was whirling, frantically trying to solve each new crisis.

The Black Hawk rattled and shook, not responding to anything I did with the flight controls. We had to land, but what little I could see through the cracked windshield was all palm trees. If we couldn’t find an open space in a matter of seconds, we’d have to ditch in the trees, where the rotor blades would beat us up once they hit the branches. God, we need a place to land! my brain screamed — and just then, by some miracle, a small opening of grassy land appeared.

Duckworth is an American Hero.
