Exactly..as the chief drives around in a new chief suburban on and off hours.

The latest is they don’t even paint the chief trucks red or lime green/ yellow. They are white with the light - bright decals so they look more “civilian”.

Just another group of hypocrites burning budget

Studies were conducted; and FD's wanted trucks with high visibility so they'll be noticed in emergencies.
While Firemen preferred RED, bright Lime Green actually won the 'human eye' notice test.

Same in my town we have the old ones in red but the new one is in hi viz.

All joking aside, I still see red better but I see way more in the day than at night so it’s prob age and time biased lol

Just wait. Pink could be the next color. Although desert pink was meant to have the vehicle blend in or be less obvious, that color will be out of place in an urban environment. It would be out of place unless it's in a gay pride parade but that will be the selling point for the DEI turds running the show.

One of those acts, alleges divorced mom-of-three Park, 55, is that Crowley 'failed to repay the city for a significant overpayment she had received in error.'

Crowley, was allegedly overpaid 'around $37,000,' and Park repeatedly reminded the fire chief about paying back the cash but was 'ghosted', Park's attorney Martin Aarons exclusively told DailyMail.com.

That LGBTQ DEI “Chief” is also on record responding a woman who asked the chief if she thought she’d be able to be able to carry her husband out of a burning building in which the chief responded with…

“He got himself into that position, he should be able to get himself out….”

She should’ve been fired on the spot and had her credentials pulled for ethics violations.

Factory red with the same stickers is the same cost as Factory white with the same stickers

one looks like a fire chief car and the other looks like a personal vehicle so when you’re driving around, you don’t look like you’re driving the fire truck

But when they make 1 red for every 300 white in the cruiser configuration white makes sense. Also if they had red you’d find something else to complain about. I’ve seen a ton of white chief vehicles, and was actually involved

Desert pink is well-proven. In the Gulf War, the Tornados were painted pink... as were the SAS Defenders. Tan shows up in the desert... pink blends in beautifully.

Make fun of the 'pink Landy's' at your peril. One wag who made fun of Mobility Troop and their Pink Jeeps woke up super-glued to an APC...

Santa Ynez Reaovoir. 117 million gallon reservoir that provides the water to the Palisades. (Hence fire hydrants running dry and pumps not working) Drained in Nov, right before fire season. The woman that is in charge of managing the water and power for LA makes $750k a year…

Is she worth it?

Be hard to miss lime green; though personally I’d support an executive order than only Porsche 911 GT3 RS(R) or old school “long hood” RSRs should be lime green or Mamba green.

Just a thought, regardless of how unrealistic: Every mansion in those canyons that gets rebuilt, should be required to have a barracks for homeless (at least 20),plus funding for Staff, paid by the multi-millionaires and lefty’s that voted the state and city of LA into Sanctuaryhood. Would result in less fires, and lots of feel-good vibe for the privileged.
