I am looking for drawings of the Steiner STR MIL reticle showing subtension, line thickness in mils, etc. I cannot find it anywhere on the web and the current Steiner Reticle Guide (https://www.steiner-optics.com/resources/reticle-guide) does not include this reticle. This reticle is available in the H6Xi line of scopes and if there is a drawing floating out there I sure can't find it. Does anyone have this that they can share? Thanks!

This one?

Thanks. Yeah, I saw that last night. He really doesn’t like the 2-12 with this reticle! C_does definitely knows what he he’s talking about and he is very opinionated but I am not sure I have the same taste in reticles he does.

Just eyeballing it, looks like a .03 mil center dot, 0.1 mil hair thickness, 0.2 mil marks that are .1 mil tall/thick, mil marks that are .2 mils tall, little plus signs are .2x.2 mils, floating dots in the tree look like .1 mil, and line dots look like .05 mil.

If the lines on the cross on the STR MIL are .1 vs the Gen 2 XR at .025 it should show up fine. Either way I have an H6Xi 3-18 coming today or tomorrow so I will be able to see it first hand. I would still like a drawing. I reached out to Steiner. I’ll post it if they are able to send it to me.

Looks somewhat similar to the Burris SCR 2 which would make sense as they have the same parent company.

I have the T6xi 5-30x with this reticle and can confirm they are very similar. I’m really glad they made the adjustments they did with this STR-MIL since the posts they added at 3/6/9 really help draw your eye in for fast shots at min magnification

Good to know. It comes in tomorrow so I will get it mounted and report back. C-does seems to like the thick/quick reticles which I don't mind but I have always leaned more towards the thin precision style reticles as I rarely take quick snapshots when hunting. I like the large view this scope is reported to have and am willing to give up a small amount of edge clarity as a trade to make it easier to find game when I look through the scope. If the reticle gets totally lost at low mag that is a problem but at low mag the shots are typically close and my brain finds the center of the reticle without me having to think about it.
