Precision Rifle Gear Leofoto 362CMX

I don’t have that particular one but have the SO-322C inverted. Not super sure of the differences between the two but the one I have is fairly flimsy. When trying to put any form of forward pressure on it, the legs flex quite a bit.

Also, I knocked it over this morning in my garage. It’s high 20s in the garage, so cold but not what I would call crazy. One of the legs broke. The CF splintered.

When it fell, did the leg hit anything?

I have that same one and it has been abused quite a bit. Surprised that it broke that easily.

I have one and have enjoyed it so far. I can shoot standing fairly comfortably off a tac table and a schmedium. (I'm 5'11) The legs not crossing over themselves is a big plus.

We all know their best tripod/head combo is clearly the ones with the MA-30L heads, of course they don't sell them in the US possibly the design looks a lot like an RRS Anvil 30...... :ROFLMAO:

It would work for a rear support in a kneeling off a tall bipod for NRL and hunting type situations though.
Absolutely, I was in the tripod rear PRS mindset when I replied. I bought it for NRL hunter and field matches. It packs so much easier and is very fast to deploy vs standard 3 sections. The full-length 362 worked fine for NRL but not the greatest for field matches that required packing it at distance.

Has anyone tried the SO-362CMX inverted tripod? Looking at one for NRL Hunter. It is the shorter 2 leg section version.
I used mine in its first NRL hunter match last weekend and was pretty happy with it, fully collapsed I could use it to glass or shoot low kneeling off a tac table. Fully extended I could shoot standing if needed. I also used it for tripod rear on a few stages with a rock or log under the front side.
I did add an adjustable center section to mine when I'm exclusively glassing to gain some height so I'm not bending over to look all the time but that would only be a concern if you RO or are spotting for someone for an extended period.
