How much snow have ya'll gotten this month? We are just over 2.5 feet. Its more than we have had in the previous 10 years combined.

This little woodpecker has been living on my porch for the last week. View attachment 8596146
One foot in Arkansas last week….nothing left except in shady places …a nice Winter event…but goodbye 👋 Still to cold for me ….21 degrees at 2:30 p.m.
Bet the Coonasses in Louisiana are having a blast ……so to speak. 🍻

Only got like 4”(So did my wife. Zing!)in two storms over this weekend in the northern ‘burbs of Denver. Not enough. It is cold as shit though. Thankfully I have enough wool to stay warm

So far... 0 for the month in Green Valley AZ
We are practically neighbors, and I have not noticed any either. 😊

Being as I am from northern Maine I do know what it is like to wake up and have snow higher than the front door.

Arizona can get pretty darn warm, but I have yet to have to shovel sunshine for an hour to get to my truck!

Don't know about Louisiana but the entire state of Florida has 11 plows. It's 365 miles from Pensacola to Jacksonville. That's a lot of work for 11 plow drivers.
Pretty sure Wyoming has 2

We've had 1/16" this year here in Corpus christi.

Yeah we shut the state down and declare shelter in place for that much….

I know a guy that used to work in rock springs. He said it never snows in Wyoming. He said it snows everywhere else and the wind blows it into Wyoming.
Seriously, I was working at home one day and I didn’t even know it was snowing and all of a sudden I hear there’s a shelter in place. I think we had like 4-6 inches of snow. I couldn’t freaking believe it.

I swear these police departments are using shelter in place more and more since the Boston Marathon bombing to test how far they can go with them

And of course I 80 was closed. No matter what vehicle you have here in Wyoming and how much you invest in winter equipment you’re held to the standard of a college kid driving a Prius with bald tires.

Then, of course, there are the truckers who can’t simply slow the freak down in bad weather. A lot of them wearing sandals and turbans and can’t speak English.

As opposed to global warming, think of the inverse, the grand solar minimum. A period of prolonged cold, lasting 40 to 50 years. Global temps dropping an average of nearly 2 degrees with the northern hemisphere entering a state of deep freeze. Of course, educated analysis with speculation, but odd you don't really hear about it in the msm, and if you do it is severely downplayed.

This would be way more catastrophic in terms of human life, as agriculture impacts and food supplies are reduced and energy demands skyrocket. Not saying its going to happen, but there are many physicists and astronomers who think its on the way, centering on a timeframe of 2030ish. Interesting and when it does happen(because it eventually will) it will alter life as we currently know it.

Cap runs Electoverse, and while there is a ton of info on this subject, the link below gives a decent summary. As always with skepticism...

Well...growing up in indiana, we used to play football waiting for the school bus in the morning...and it was not uncommon for an errant pass to have everyone digging for the now lost ball.

Snow usually accumulated to around 8 to 12 inches and stayed that way until march....i dont ever recall a snow day...maybe one?

Not anymore though... and just because people live in a snowy climate doesnt mean they know how to drive in it...people are retarded no matter what.

Its 5 degrees here... up from -7 at 4am ish.... but no new snow....just what is left from the last week.

At my place in northern AZ this winter there's been 1.5" of snow from three storms whereas a few years ago we had approaching 200 inches. It was 4 the other morning and this year it's more windy which makes me hibernate more.

Would some of you guys please get in contact with the owners of HAARP, and the rest of the weather manipulation patent holders, and ask them to get us some moisture here before spring so my house won't get burned down.

Maybe I should spray paint my whole house, roof and all, blue?? I'm kinda glad I don't have ocean front property or lithium mines close by. Some will get what I mean.

Early to mid 70's Time Magazine had a cover that commented on the coming ice age. Next thing you know it's the 80's and Gore is going off about global warming. Which in a way was ironic because in1980 Mt. Saint Helens blew and filled atmosphere with dust that stayed up there for years and as I remember most of the winters in the 80's were cold with lots of snow, at least where I lived.
