I just bought and cerakoted a new MDT LSS XL chassis and am considering the MDT wood grip. The action is Howa 6.5 C.
I've really grown to like the vertical grip on the old Howa APC chassis. The MDT grip is canted more like the AR style but not so much.
The wood grip would compliment the paint job so... just thinking about it.
Does anyone have an opinion either way ?
thx

Not really, it's an AR grip, if you don't like it it's pretty easy to remove it.

That being said, the google led me to a place where they make wood AR compatible grips that are more vertical, they look pretty cool so they could be worth checking out.

I bought one because I thought it would fancy up my MDT LSS-XL. Well I didn't like the feel of it on the chassis. Vertical grip is the best. So I moved it to mt AR15 and it feels great. SO it is not the feel of the grip but the function of the grip. For me the MDT Chassis wants that vertical grip.
