Ukraine war Bullshit.

Someone will come for him. Too much big money and criminal activity around him for a dumb stooge like that to live out his days.

It will be interesting to see what happens to him.

He originally ran on a platform of peace and reconciliation, but I believe ultra-nationalistic neo-Nazis Nazis, like those in the Azov battalion and C14 group, threatened to kill Zelensky if he didn't take a more nationalistic approach. The C14 group is a group that was complicit in turning the Maidan Coup violent, in which the democratically elected leader Yanakovich was overthrown. And of course, this was all backed by our State Department and CIA.

Fast forward to present day, I can't imagine Zelensky will be very popular at the end of this war. Sounds like there's around 600-700k Ukrainians dead so far, with many more injured. This war will likely end in a negotiated settlement where Ukraine loses land, any prospect of joining NATO/EU, and a generation of men wiped out.

I think many in Ukraine are going to be left wondering why this war was fought. Especially given the earlier peace deals that would've left Ukraine much better off than the position they are in today.

I don't think Zelensky will be a popular figure at home. But I guess we will see.

I also think this conflict is going to forment a lot of hate for the west - and I don't blame them. We baited them into this conflict with false hope and promises, only to completely take advantage of them. I personally would not be surprised if terrorist threats come out of Ukraine against the west in the future.

F16 program so far has been quite deadly for its pilots and instructors ,3 lost in crashes so far, now defender of Greenland was lost as well.

as far as mercs go, there's an old saying Russians like to repeat...
"Go tell all in foreign lands that Russia lives! Those who come to us in peace will be welcome as a guest. But those who come to us sword in hand will die by the sword! On that Russia stands and forever will we stand!"

you have to wonder if this guy is stupid, delusional or panicking besides being deeply corrupt. he is not getting US troops, doubt NATO. hopefully getting no more money or weapons. this is a main reason why i know that Russia winning big. this obvious demanding of not happening things wouldn't be pushed if Ukraine had a chance to win or tie.
wish Putin would just send Spetsnaz and be done with this pus bag.

i think he also said he needs 200k from european allies to "win".
probably thinks he'll get a better deal from putin if he has at least some bargaining power.
i assume that is why trump isn't threatening to cut off aid...because he is trying to make a deal.

Still curious what Trumps move is here.
i'm guessing he will tell zelensky (privately) that we are done and he has to accept a compromise deal.
then he will tell putin he is going to back ukraine if he doesn't offer something reasonable.
as far as putin, i think he still wants the same thing as in the beginning. no new nato on his borders, limited arms in ukraine.
in the end, i still suspect there will be some profit sharing for the oil and gas in the donbas, public or not.

That sounds like whats being tossed around. Especially with Zelensky reaching out in that recent Davos speech.

But i fear its not enough, and this drags on.

they are asking trump these questions now

oh dang, says live...2 weeks old...but he did talk about ukraine and said he isn't telling them what he is going to do. :p

This guy is delusional.
In his interviews and speeches he has an english "coach" on the sidelines correcting him and feeding him his lines. I think it was skynews that sat down with him for like an hour and you could actually hear the coach correcting him in the back ground.

he's also a new english speaker so that is part of it too, which makes him sound like more of a bumbling idiot.

Zelensky knows that he is fucked and the spigot has been shut off. Hope he gets Clintoned before he can enjoy all the money he has stolen.

Maybe Trump should launch an investigation into all the members of Congress and Senate that traveled to Ukraine, as well as auditing same , as well as their families and corporations. Send Pho-Chee to Ukraine, or Russia. Either is fine with me.

A permanent garrison of 200K NATO troops is the cost of surrender.

To "win" we just need to hit all the Rooskie targets in Ukraine- and a few choice ones inside Mother Russia- at exactly the same time.
trump could make it harder for russia to finance the war if he unleashes more lng into the eu market. i don't knw how long that would take since a lot of projects have been shut down for 4 years.

Putin isn't going to allow NATO troops. The only concession he'll allow is letting them keep Kiev.

Putin doesn't get to allow or disallow anything.

If he doesn't step correctly here, he will fragment his country into little oligarch-controlled fiefdoms and die bloody like Gaddafi did ( <--- His #1 greatest fear)

Russia is a weak nation.

^ THIS is something that seriously should (and will) be pursued. What "Economic Warfare" tools can we bring to bear to choke and starve people who don't behave properly?

The balkanization of a nuclear state should not be something anyone cheers on.

trump has already threatened further sanctions, and requiring partner nations to enforce them (we know they won't).

You have to hand it to sleepy Joe and the gang, they mastered the art of war. Or the art of getting rich from war. In the old days you had to make your money from owning stocks, pay offs, kick backs, that sort of thing. They figured out a way to cut out all the middle men and turn it into a cash business. Cash going out, cash coming back, and someone else doing the fighting. They really streamline the process.
This: "Or the art of getting rich from war." The Bidens got out of control rich in the Ukraine. And Hunter led the charge. This always catches up with people. All the Senators and House reps that went to the Ukraine were compromised, as in blackmailed.

Is Russia still a nuclear state?

I would be afraid to even try to touch the old-Soviet-button if I was Putin... accidents can happen.

Not only sanctions, but what else can be done so that we don't have to rubble the Moscow suburbs, but we can just make life extremely bad for everyone that lives there.

They already know that Putin killed over a half-a-million of their countrymen with absolutely nothing to show for it but some pounded mud in Ukraine.

eastern and southern ukraine have some of the largest oil and gas deposits in the region.
i believe the cia overthrew the prior regime so that western oil companies could exploit those resources.
some reporting say oil companies like exxonmobile had already invested over $10billion before the war started.
lots of the video/photo evidence was already shared in the thread that got deleted.

These are not the musings of a healthy mind.

I'm just a guy who is committed to BIG NUMBERS, ya' dig?

i believe the cia overthrew the prior regime so that western oil companies could exploit those resources.

In reality, it was the Ukranian people who overthrew the prior regime, because the people sent him the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement to promote greater freedom and democracy, and increased prosperity.

Instead, he rejected the will of the people and caved to Kremlin pressure by not signing the deal, and taking steps to place Ukraine in a subordinate position to Russia, and place it back under their boot heel.

The people swapped him RIGHT OUT, and he fled to Russia where Putin gifted him one of his palaces in the town of Bakovka.

If you're talking about Yanukovych, he was overthrown in a violent coup led by western backed ultra-nationalistic neo-Nazis:
