Anyone have any good pics from Dallas or SHOT?

I was sick as shit for shot but did manage to sneak over to Manners to play with the new folder. It is unbelievably light. So light it almost felt fake. The lockup was rock solid and I reefed on it pretty good. Manners really knocked this one out of the park from what I can see. That was one of the biggest precision rifle "highlights" for me at this years SHOT. I forgot to take pics unfortunately, but really not much more to see from the pic you posted.

Supposed to be released February 17th, if it's like the recent lrh-nv release a handful of these folders may be available in the ready to ship section on their website on the 17th or whenever they add the new product page to the website.

Hopefully they shaped the buttstock in such a way it will clear most bolt handles when folded. Hard to tell in the pics and video but it looks like excessively long bolt handles/knobs may interfere with the folding section.

Good to hear. My worry was the folding hinge would have a bit of wiggle/give/flex as a side effect of the super light design, and that would really bug me, lol

That is honestly what I was expecting when I heard about it. The latch mechanism locks up definitively and solid, there is maybe just the slightest play due to the tolerances to make the latch work smoothly, but its not noticeable when you're on gun at all. Feels just like any other Manners stock when its locked in place.

Raise the comb and butt pad another half inch, level the underside of the butt with the bore and you have made thee stock.

With the folder making cleaning rod access a non-issue, raising the cheek rest area and butt pad even with or slightly above the bore centerline would probably be an ergonomic benefit for pretty much everyone.

Been waiting to see some clearer images of this stock in both the open and folded position from shot show, but haven't seen any yet.

Exactly. Would be a big deal for recoil control.

3 eh1s currently and have not seen a reason enough to replace any with lrh or pro hunter. A folder with above bore line recoil pad and a more parallel but bottom would make me replace all 3.

Shorter trigger reach would be nice too but I can handle the eh1 reach.
