It continues to move forward, not as fast as anybody wants it to, but production continues.@coldboremiracle, any insights you can share on the WLVRN’s production moving forward? It looks to have a lot of promise but knowing spare parts will be available in the future is important too. Thanks

That really needs to be a factory barrel caliber option, same with 7.62x39 since they share the same bolt. I'd imagine 7.62x39 would run great in a Micron sized length since it's optimal barrel length is 12.3"Just for fun, and because I like the 6 ARC, I made a custom barrel for it. Fun and neat little project:

Thanks! I did tear it all apart. Outlined the process here: gun paintingThat really needs to be a factory barrel caliber option, same with 7.62x39 since they share the same bolt. I'd imagine 7.62x39 would run great in a Micron sized length since it's optimal barrel length is 12.3"
Q: When you painted that, did you disassemble the bipod hand guard or mask it carefully? came out looking great
Good stuff. At least the Wlvrn doesn't have the same issues the MDRX does when it comes to complete disassembly, so painting a future acquisition should be a fun time. Mostly holding out for the micron conversions for it since my 308 MDRX is doing everything I ask of it for the momentThanks! I did tear it all apart. Outlined the process here: gun painting
I have a Wlvrn and the rear take down isn't walking out.Any new user info on the wolverine? Just wondering how the rear takedown pin is holding up and what kind of accuracy and reliability you are getting.
If it was just one caliber, it would have been ironed out a long time ago. Each caliber seem to present it's own challengesThankyou for the info. Would be great if this new wlvrn has all the kinks out of it and will be a good reliable system. My mdrx was very accurate with the 223 and 6.5 creed barrels also.
Depends on what else is on it. Scopes and (Suppressors) move the balance toward the center. So, with a lot of rearward weight, I imagine this rifle would not balance well when locked into a tripod.
Would this guess be correct?
I suppose that’s all one really has to work with here. Except for a suppressor (or weights). Or a laser. A light would look a little weird, but I suppose that’s an option too.Depends on what else is on it. Scopes and move the balance toward the center.
without other items on it yes, but you can mitigate that by biasing the stance of the tripod a bit. the MDRX and WLVRN both really favor flow-through suppressors in my experienceSo, with a lot of rearward weight, I imagine this rifle would not balance well when locked into a tripod.

Mine always looked like the inside was on fire with a traditional can, gas escaping from every crack and seamYup.
The Mdrx seems to be fine with traditional cans too (I use Flow through and traditional)..I have not tried a traditional can on the Wlvrn.
