The issue with it in the Mark 5 is the a gap between the turret and the reference mark and it being offset give significant parallax error that wouldn't usually be present. Also it appears to have taken the same stupid pills as Leupold with the asinine off-center windage reference.
No shit...Thank god it’s not a P3 reticle and FFP
I'll likely try this one depending on price and how fricking long it will take to get to our shores....
At $3200 that would be a hard pass....If we were TPIR'n this, I'd guess $3200 and a lengthy backorder at Euro
So, guessing it's a combo of Klassik glass and tube and PMII internals? Or just that with SFP they were able to make it a little lighter?
I’ve always been told the Klassik series glass is basically the same as the PMII. Check out the FOV, eye relief, and even physical dimension of the eyepiece on the 3-12 Klassik and 3-12 PMII.Is there a difference in PMII and hunting/non-pmii glass?

Not that it matters, they are full Simple Jack priced out of relevance
Looks like EO has it listed for $3.7k to $4k depending on options. WTF? Can those prices be realistic? They ever announce a price? Also, it says that the turret could be retrofitted to other scopes. Any guesses on what that would cost?

Well, I´m looking for a hunting scope for the field hunt (and sometimes for mid-range fun shooting) here in Germany for over half a year now, because I had to realize, that my 3-12 comes to its limits sometimes.I hope a first focal plane version is in the works. Not uncommon for S&B to have both options in their optics.

If they would produce this as a FFP, I would get me one right now.

Very very niceWell looks like they un-fucked this idea:
1st Focal
Ultra Short/Dual CC style double turn turrets
Decent mil tree reticle (looks suited for the mag range/purpose) SBX
27oz.
Probably looks like a fine crosshair plex I'm hoping. Left, Right, and bottom stadia all go to 10mils and into duplexVery nice, I'd like to see the reticle at low magnification.
Finally! I can get behind this! Love this for a hunting scope and occasional NRL Hunter match. Anyone hear a price yet?
Probably not pleasant.... I'm sure the first number will be a "3"

I wish. Try a 4, almost a 5...

Keep in mind that much like a few years ago when they did the same thing S&B's bipolar pricing is currently on a manic swing, it may change down substantially when they come back to reality... Hopefully. That's a lot of money, especially for the US version with the restricted FOV. The full FOV euro version makes the price a little more palatable, but still hard to justify IMO.
I didn't realize there were different models. Do you know what the FOV difference is compared to the EU Model?I wish. Try a 4, almost a 5...
