In the market for a new hunting rifle looking really hard at a waypoint 7 prc. See alot of mixed reviews, anyone have anything positive to say?? Also looking at a christensen and a savage light hunter with proof barrel. Looking for more of an extended range setup. Like the stock on the waypoint over other 2. Thanks in advance for feedback

I have several savages and they are all shooters. Probably why I'm so nervous about these "higher end" rifles.. will they out shoot a savage?? Or do they just feel better and look cooler Lol. I have an action to build off of but trying to buy something from the local gun store friend of mine works the gun counter. I think they carry everything but seekins!

That's has crossed my mind! Seam like I can be at or over waypoint money pretty quick. Waypoint really only need the Dimond trigger in my opinon. Just see alot of mixed reviews

DO NOT buy one of those pieces of shit. Everyone I know that has a Waypoint has had accuracy issues. Those carbon-tensioned barrels are not real carbon-wrapped barrels like a Proof or Christensen. They are a thin steel barrel with a hollow carbon tube over it, and tightened between 2 end caps. It's a cheap ass design and they're charging premium prices for those rifles.

Here's some MUCH better options around that same price range with REAL carbon fiber wrapped barrels...
