Lying pieces of shit gets 180 cases dismissed

One of the departments that’s been arresting sober drivers and even with clean blood tests still charging them with dui .

Uniform hangers that do that, should be put on the fast track to prison.
They need old testament justice.

They get away with it because all the stupid idiotic "good people" are all enamored on their glamorous "war on drunk drivers" and are happy to toss over all their rights and freedoms and go along with all kinds of abuses and corruption because the uniform hangers promise to "get those bad drunk drivers".
And of course the courts top to bottom are Corrupt or Cowards or Complicit or Compromised or straight up evil.

The citizens have to spend tons of money and time and effort to clear their names and the Vile Uniform Hangers and the evil government that does it, just says oh well, we'll get you next time when you don't have enough money.

That's why is absolutely hate those evil "DWI checkpoints" and such with the same passion I hate communists and those that do communist stuff.

All their cases dismissed and he’s suspended because they figured they
would never check their official statements against the body cam footage

It happens. There was one in Sacramento probably ten years ago who did the same thing. He did get sentenced to jail time but the judge made it a slap on the wrist like deferred sentence or something. They had another one recently.

Body Cams seem to be eliminating a lot of the bullshit.

Not just shady cops, but light shed on the shady system. Things may be starting to change.

I don't get it, at all.

$5000 is nuisance settlement.

The judge held that the officer had probable cause.

The guy's blood test also showed he was DUI.

But maybe you posted it because of the overwhelmingly harassing bond conditions while awaiting trial?

“The Baker family had to pay for attorneys to defend against the criminal charges, had to post $5,000 bond, attended numerous court hearings and meetings with their attorneys, took 569 daily random testing phone calls, 82 weekly check-in calls with a pretrial officer, and further, Damon Baker was required to take 66 random drug and alcohol tests and pay for pretrial supervision fees,” reads the couple’s complaint.

that particular case dui may have been true - I was just commenting on this was one of the multiple PD’s involved in false dui arrests .
Didn’t say all dui arrests were unlawful revenue generating schemes

I just hate that this was in NC. Let’s me know what’s going on here, and it doesn’t leave me with the warm fuzzies.
I get ya - the hero’s in blue we were taught to worship turned out to bags of shit - lying stealing bearing old people - state revenue generators that beat their wives and we still have to pay for their crimes and pensions .
Don’t make me warm and fuzzy either .

BUT the good news - if a bunch of radical commie blm types get bussed into your town to loot and burn- then the police will protect us 😉

When there are mandatory minimum sentences for drug crimes, repeat DUI, money laundering, child molestation, kidnapping, etc, there should be too for false arrest, illegal detention, anything that deprives another of their civil rights by a person in a position of power weather elected, appointed or hired. No sense having the bill of rights that we are punished under if there are no real punishments for depriving another of any of those rights for those complicit in doing so.
Yes mistakes happen. when they are repeated it is a pattern of abuse, neglect, or ineptitude and needs to be punished.

I am bumping 70 and my Mom taught me at about 5 years old never trust the police, show respect come home and we will deal with it.
I grew up in NY in a well connected family and the police were on the take back then too. I have never trusted an officer and this lesson has served me well.
The other life lesson was, the only way two people can keep a secret is one has to be dead.
In life I have met enough officers and some who were "friends", all had the same you are not a cop so you are a criminal attitude. Best to not be around them.

The NC highway patrol has always been crooked. The most egotistical pretentious group of cocky bastards I ever encountered.
But then I found out how dirty the Wake and Johnston County sheriff's departments are. It makes the NCHP not seem so bad

Horry county in South Carolina can give them all a run for their money, stolen civil asset forfeiture money that is .
They love to drive around in the fancy cars , especially custom trucks they’ve stolen from tourists. Last I looked like 177% more revenue in tickets and asset forfeiture than the county budget . They kick a percentage to the feds and keep the rest - just like the mafia

Get some perspective. There are 1600 troopers. This is two of them. Moreover, the District Attorney is tossing out the cases in which she would have to rely upon this officer's testimony.

Let's not go all Antifa and All Cops Are Bad (ACAB) on the situation.

Right remember how they protected the cites from BLM and rounded up the 13,000 convicted murderers who are also illegal invaders , or how quick they rounded up everyone in Epsteins client list . And don’t forget the billions they steal a year from innocent people with CAF.
I’m sure these two are the only lying pieces of shit out of the 1600, and out of 1600 by the national average only 720 of them will be wife beaters .( 45%)

A piece of rope is far more fiscally sound and more entertaining when they shit themselves before or after the short drop.

yes and i am not sure how to get that back. i see no way to ever regain trust in local, county and state LE. federal is just never going to gain trust and actually should be totally shut down and starte again from scratch.
it would help if fed bureaucracy was unable to make "rules" that = laws. i believe the SC agreed in a recent decision. that is on congress in many ways as the job of making laws is theirs. of course, being most are lazy, corrupt scum, they pass the buck to the deep state. most of the deep state bureaus have enforcement pigs that are armed. same applies to many state and local governments.

Too bad there isn't true justice for these power trippers but there is some hope that Karma does exist.......
Not sure this corruption will ever be eradicated but Federal and State qualified immunity and an end to CAF will be a good start.

It is too soon to declare anything at all. Prosecutors may indeed bring charges.
