I just saw Chris Kraft put out a video on scope hight, for years I’ve put my scopes up high so I didn’t have to do contortions with my neck and head to get positioned behind my scopes,I was told I would never get any type of accuracy this way well I always disagreed I felt when I was more comfortable my POI was always consistent .from what I understand it’s never been a proven fact if you run your scope high it will be less accurate .

I used ultra-low rings on bolt guns for years. Was always told the same crap. Then got into the AR world and watch the sight height progress on those. I have some 1.93 mounts up to the unity tactical 2.26 for using with NODs. There has been zero change in accuracy on the rifles that I've gone from absolute co-witness to lower 1/3rd to 1.93 to 2.26.

In the AR world, you just have to be aware of the sight offset for closer shooting, the only downside I've run into with the higher optic mounts.

It all depends on the stock/ chassis set up and facial body dimensions.
There is no one size fits all.
I'm 6'2" but my height and facial dimensions don't match everyone my height some have more of a basketball head shape than my Scandinavian tall thin shape.
Set it up based on your needs and ignore the group think bullshit you will be better in the long run for it.

How high are we talking? I think what matters most is whatever height you run it, you the user are comfortable and consistent.
