Were they complaining because of the noise, or were they complaining because the operator was a "Non" HOA member? Hmmmm.....

Question 2: What is the "Quiet Hours" policy for the PUD? In mine, it's 10pm - 8am the next day, 7 days a week, even Sundays. Although, I often give 1 hour extra on Sundays and don't start mowing my lawn until 9am. Furthermore, When I use my generator, I have a Zombie Box to help curtail the noise.

Although, in my case, I put it on its side. And I put the "noisy side" up against my nasty neighbor's property :ROFLMAO:You have to keep one side open to handle the exhaust but also to have access to the controls.

It does help reduce the noise by about 20 decibels. I'm also considering a Muffler to attach to the exhaust.

It sounds like this is a person that lives next to a HOA community but not in it or controlled by it? I’d tell them to fuck off.

Or, it could also be a "tenant" (non HOA member, technically) in a house where the landlord is the HOA member. We have a lot of those in my PUD. Now, our laws say the landlord is responsible for the tenant obeying all the community rules, etc. so....
