KMW & TAC OPS Poss Second Go Around

Good morning.
Have been conversing with Mike on some of this.

I am in a position to work with him on a similar project as the last collaboration using the SENTINEL combat stocks built to Tac-Ops specs but I am not in a position to commit anything Zealot related yet.

I do not take it lightly when Mike or any other custom builder asks for my involvement. It is a big deal to me because if I fuck up anything with my work or any KMW component falls short, that would be a mark against the other partner in the collaboration.

I also have to remember that Mike does NOT usually build any of his masterpieces on a chassis. That is pretty much blasphemy and heresy in his lane. So, it is a huge vote of confidence for Mike to even consider the Zealot. Such things have historically been out of his comfort zone. So again, I would not take this invitation lightly.

If we move in the direction of a chassis on a Tac-Ops rifle, everything (EVERYTHING) needs to be right on my end. It is not quite to the level I want yet, but I am working hard in that direction. The final refinements on the Zealot chassis were already a priority simply because it is my livelihood and my own reputation. I now have yet another reason to keep it as a priority.

Thank you all for the positive feedback.
I want to be a good partner to Mike in bringing you a solid finished product that performs as well as it looks and one that you will be proud to hand down to your kids or grandkids.

Everybody have a safe week.

Any chance you could modify the Sentinel slightly?
Nothing extreme - just make the rail section longer. Or do an Anschutz rail like Mike does. That would allow a longer ARCA rail section to be used so a tripod would be closer to the center of gravity.
Just a thought.

ANYONE THAT WANTS A BUILD IN A SENTINEL STOCK IN A 6.5 OR 308 PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP.

When I put the order in all together, I'll get them in hand quicker than one at a time...

PM me here...

Thank you

Mike R.

What will the barrel length be on the 6.5CM? I love my .308 KM-OPS 51. I am interested in the 6.5 but would need to know the timeframe on payment. I have a few different projects competing for funds at the moment.

Lol, my naturally combative nature was reading it as a barb. 😂
Yes, two if these sculptures side by side would be beautiful!
I would highly recommend installing a Magnum condom on your Dog cause I'm tired of calling the Hazmat team to clean my Ninja's up...

To my knowledge (from the other kmw thread) the competition model has a full length arca rail and the LE just has a short rail close to the balance point, there might be other features that are different also but I'm not sure.

If it’s aluminum..birdsong doesn’t adhere very well. I’d think not

The shade that is attained (black or NATO green) is non-reflective which is very important for security force action. The coating withstands chemical warfare materials. The Black-T coating can be applied to different types of materials including steel, aluminum, brass, magnesium, titanium, plastic materials, and compound materials.
