I just bought a savage 110 tactical in 6.5CM, I have the barrel, stock and bottom metal for sale. I am looking to budget build a 6CM with a 26" outlier barrel and chassis. My only concern is the outlier 2 piece chassis. I have been looking into a MDT XRS or LSS-XL Gen 2, but im really trying to keep the budget low. Thoughts?

if you want cheap its the ticket. forend feels sturdy enough. I like how I can buy another one of the chassis in another inlet for 75$ and just swap the foreend and buttstock. I had a tr2 buttstock from XLR that I got on black Friday that's great for short youth lop so I have that instead of the outlier ones.

another option is ultradyne. they have complete chassis combo for 550. I think they have an email sign up for 10% off. but I think that's gonna run you another 150$ over the outlier.

Maybe it's flimsy? I don't know, never seen one in person.

I have one. It’s not flimsy.

I don’t know what the extra 700-1000 is for to get the best ones. I’m sure there’s advantages. But I paid 200.00 for my chassis and fore end, and I already had stocks to try on. I don’t think it will stop me from shooting well. And it’s certainly not falling apart it’s a chunk of aluminum. Mags seem to function fine

I don't know if any are still exchanging hands......but the APO Sabre chassis is a great option .....years back they were going for about $600
