Dude was the DoD Deputy CIO for Command, Control, & Communications in OSD and he was just doing dogfighting stuff all day in the Pentagon.

It makes me sad, angry, and laugh all at the same time.

My GF told me that she had tickets to see Blazing Saddles at the Kennedy Center. I said, "but dear....I've seen it a dozen times on TV". She said "not with Mel Brooks talking afterward".

Mr. Brooks was older than dirt, told one hilarious story after another, and they had to hook him to get him off the stage. But he did talk about how it was himself and Richard Pryor who wrote Blazing Saddles and that it was Pryor who wrote in every last n-word that was in the movies. Hilarious.

Prison sentences have never made any sense. A guy raped Marla Maples' shoes and got 18 to 54 months.

The shoes went on to recover and lead normal lives.

Dogfighting is really bad, but you can sodomize a toddler and get 25 years.

Although my last pastor only did two years for raping his little niece.

Anthropomorphism.
I'm sure many here consider their pets as family members.
That doesn't mean that others share their sentiment towards those pets.
People/children ect./human life have inherent value.
The disparity in sentencing is a testament to the child like reasoning.
As one looks around the world the lack of human life value creates the same living hell outcomes.

Ok here is my serious post.

Yes...the sentence is retarded.
I like dogs, but some dogs are dangerous, and need putting down...permanent.
Just like some people.

No...i dont condone dog fighting. Putting animals in a cage to kill each other is inhuman.
How bout lets fence in Chicago, and encourage all those people to kill each other.
Ok maybe that was a bad example....

That sentence is retarded. The way I feel about it is if the crime warrants a sentence of more than 60 years they should be exicuted in a timely manner. If I go to the pet store and buy 2 betta fish and throw down a $20 bet and let them fight to the death will I get 500 years?

As for child sex crimes I think lynch mobs should take care of that business, they should never see the inside of a jail.
