Join the contestThis episode marks two firsts for me. This is my first video with the new Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG60. It boasts a 4x base magnification which is nice for hunting open areas. It does this while still retaining a fairly generous 7.3° FOV.
This also the first time I have used a .204 Ruger for my videos. I do like the very minimal recoil, and it is super quiet when shooting suppressed.
I have tried lots of calibers ranging from .17 up to .24 caliber for coyotes. I know it is a bit old-school, but my favorite has always been the 22-250 if mainly shooting coyotes.Nice to see some 204 action. I’m a huge fan of it for pdogs. Never shot a coyote with anything, so it’s nice to hear your thoughts.
What caliber do you usually use for coyotes?
@skinney_7 seems to like 22-250 too…not sure if he’s still using 22 Creed along side it.I have tried lots of calibers ranging from .17 up to .24 caliber for coyotes. I know it is a bit old-school, but my favorite has always been the 22-250 if mainly shooting coyotes.
Thanks for the PM and the information that you are not reloading ammo.@skinney_7 seems to like 22-250 too…not sure if he’s still using 22 Creed along side it.
If I can find some land to shoot on and find I enjoy coyote hunting, I had been thinking of getting a 22-250 barrel spun up. Thx for your info and thx for the vids you put out.
